Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place on Saraevskaya Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside – it’s tucked into a residential area that feels more like where locals actually live than the touristy strip. But man, once you get inside and see those terraces? Complete game changer. You’re literally looking out at the Adriatic, and I mean *literally* – not some distant glimpse between buildings, but proper sea views that make you want to grab a coffee and just sit there for hours.

The apartment itself is split across two levels, which actually works really well because it doesn’t feel cramped like some of those shoebox places closer to the Old Town. Downstairs you’ve got your main living area and kitchen (which, you know what, is better equipped than I expected – they’ve got a proper coffee maker, not just one of those sad little electric kettles). Upstairs is where the magic happens though – the bedroom opens right onto the upper terrace, so you can literally roll out of bed and be outside with that sea breeze hitting you. The lower terrace is perfect for evening drinks, especially around sunset when the whole coastline just lights up golden. I spent way too many evenings out there with a bottle of local wine, watching the fishing boats come back in.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – being off the main drag means you’re not dealing with the party crowds stumbling back from the bars at 3am. You can actually hear the waves, which sounds cheesy but honestly makes such a difference for sleeping. The walk into Budva’s center is maybe 15 minutes if you take your time, and there’s a little grocery store about five minutes away where the owner (older guy, speaks decent English) will point you toward the best local stuff. Parking was easier than I thought it’d be – there’s space nearby, though in peak summer you might need to hunt around a bit. The hosts were pretty responsive when I had questions, and check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right place. Look, it’s not luxury – it’s a solid 3-star setup – but for the price and that location, especially with those terraces and the actual sea views? I mean, I’ve paid twice as much for places in Budva that had “partial sea views” which turned out to be a sliver of blue if you craned your neck just right. This one delivers on what it promises, which honestly feels rare these days.
