You know what surprised me about Ada apartman? It’s tucked away on Prva ulica in this quiet residential pocket of Budva where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of party music – and trust me, that’s saying something in this town. The bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and there’s this nice cross-breeze thing happening when you open the right windows – crucial during those sticky July evenings.

What really sold me on this place was how genuine everything felt. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no weird hidden fees or confusing key card systems that never work. The host actually knows the neighborhood and gave me these specific directions to avoid the tourist traps (like, don’t eat at the place with the giant lobster sign, but do try the bakery two streets over that opens at 6 AM). You’re close enough to Budva’s beach scene when you want it, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk college kids stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The building itself has character – it’s not some sterile hotel complex, but it’s also not falling apart. You get this sense that real people live here, which I find way more interesting than staying in some generic resort bubble. Plus, there’s actually decent parking nearby, which anyone who’s driven in Budva will tell you is basically a minor miracle.
