You know what surprised me about Ada apartman? It’s tucked away on Prva ulica in this quiet residential pocket of Budva where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of party music – and trust me, that’s saying something in this town. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes, but when you’re sipping coffee on that little balcony, it feels like you’ve found this hidden slice of normal Montenegrin life.

The apartment itself is on the first floor (which is actually the second floor if you’re American – European counting, you know), and honestly, it’s one of those places that just works. Everything’s clean and functional without trying too hard to be fancy. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent pots, which sounds boring but you’ll appreciate it when you’re making breakfast with those amazing tomatoes from the market near Slovenska plaza. The bed’s comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night, and there’s this nice cross-breeze thing happening when you open the right windows – crucial during those sticky July evenings.

What really sold me on this place was how genuine everything felt. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no weird hidden fees or confusing key card systems that never work. The host actually knows the neighborhood and gave me these specific directions to avoid the tourist traps (like, don’t eat at the place with the giant lobster sign, but do try the bakery two streets over that opens at 6 AM). You’re close enough to Budva’s beach scene when you want it, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk college kids stumbling past your window at 3 AM. The building itself has character – it’s not some sterile hotel complex, but it’s also not falling apart. You get this sense that real people live here, which I find way more interesting than staying in some generic resort bubble. Plus, there’s actually decent parking nearby, which anyone who’s driven in Budva will tell you is basically a minor miracle.

Budva’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm and modern comfort, with many featuring sea view terraces and traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

  Very, very clean and cozy. Good location, close to everything, but not noisy. It wasn't hot even at +35 outside – good air conditioner. There's a private parking place.

  We stayed here for three days and really enjoyed it. The apartment was super clean and felt like new, equipped with everything we needed.
  The owner was very friendly, responsive, helpful, and made us feel really welcome.
  It’s about an 8-minute walk to the beach and really close to the main bus station, which was super convenient.
