You know what really struck me about Adria Lux Apartments when I first pulled up? It’s that perfect balance between luxury and actually feeling like you could live there for more than a weekend. I mean, Sveti Stefan isn’t exactly short on beautiful places to stay, but this one has something different going on – it’s polished without being stuffy, if that makes sense.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive. We’re talking about proper kitchens where you could actually cook a real meal (not just heat up instant noodles), and the living spaces are generous enough that you won’t feel like you’re tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The whole place has this modern Mediterranean vibe – think clean lines but with warm touches that keep it from feeling cold. What I really appreciated was the attention to detail in the bathrooms; good water pressure, decent-sized towels, and those little touches that show someone actually thought about what guests need. The 4-star rating feels spot-on, actually – it’s clearly upscale but not trying too hard to be something it’s not.

Here’s the thing about this area though – and locals will tell you the same – you’re close enough to all the Sveti Stefan action without being right in the thick of tourist chaos. During peak season (which honestly runs longer here than you’d expect, well into September), you’ll appreciate having a quiet base where you can retreat when the coastal crowds get overwhelming. The 9.1 rating doesn’t surprise me at all; the staff genuinely knows their stuff and they’re not just going through the motions. Parking was straightforward, which – trust me – is not something to take for granted around here. I’d definitely recommend having a car since you’ll want to explore beyond just the immediate area, and honestly, some of the best beaches and restaurants are tucked away in spots you’ll never find without your own wheels. The check-in process was refreshingly simple too, none of that overly complicated key card drama you get at some places. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a really nice temporary home than a hotel room, and you want to experience this part of Montenegro without feeling like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble, this place gets it right.

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool is amazing and the view is perfect especially when the sun is setting. The owner was really lovely to us. We arrived without any data on our phones but the wifi here is a hotspot which you can take with you anywhere you go. This was amazing for us. It is difficult here without a car but we could access a shop and some restaurants within walking distance. The place was very clean and I would definitely recommend.

  Host was very attentive with exceptional communication skills. We loved the infinity.pool here & the ocean views. Was only a 10 min walk to the closest beach.

  The views from the balcony were amazing. Walking distance to Sveti Stefan (about 10 minutes.) Also within walking distance to the beach. We had an amazing time here. Bed was comfy. All amenities you would need. We were welcomed and given recommendations. Wished we’d booked for longer!
  
  What could be improved: The one and only small thing was the smell from the drains.

  Perfect oasis away from the business of other beach side towns. Check in was easy. Swim in infinity pool, walk down to the nearest beach, short walk or drive to other beautiful beaches and towns.
  You can walk to the shops, there is a generous cooking space and fridge in the apt. or enjoy nearby restaurants. The host is great at making recommendations.
  The only thing, the Internet was very spotty, but perfect for unplugging and enjoying the beauty of the Montenegro coast.

  It's a really luxurious place with a very nice sea view. You can enjoy the sunset from the apartment's living room, your room or from the pool side. Clean rooms, bathroom and pool.

  The host, Sergey, was great. Any issues/requests were dealt with immediately and communication was fantastic too. Although it was simple, the property had everything we needed and was worth the money paid. For example, the kitchen was well-equipped, there were clean towels provided, a modern washing machine, parking and there was also an amazing pool and BBQ area. There was also a beautiful beach called Galila very near to the property, though you need to pay 30 euros for an umbrella up until 5pm. We discovered a great beach called Queen's beach two days before the end of our holiday; I'd highly recommend a visit.
  
  What could be improved: Generally, everything was great. Perhaps the turn in to the area where the property is situated could be better signposted. Also, the washing line kept collapsing and was difficult to use at time, but that was a very minor issue so we didn't report it. If we had done, I'm certain Sergey would've been happy to help.

  We spent 3 nights with family. Sergey received us kindly as soon as we arrived. There was nice sea view from the apartment. The apartment was as shown in the pictures.
