This place is actually a hidden gem that punches way above its 3-star rating, and that 9.6 score isn’t just inflated reviews from friends and family.

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is how they’ve managed to make a smaller property feel genuinely upscale without trying too hard. You know what I mean – no fake marble or over-the-top chandeliers, just clean lines and this relaxed vibe that makes you want to kick off your shoes immediately. The pool area is where they really shine though. It’s not Olympic-sized or anything, but it’s positioned perfectly to catch the afternoon light, and honestly, the view they’re bragging about in the name? They’re not overselling it. I spent way more time than I planned just floating there, watching the city spread out below – it’s one of those views that makes you understand why people become obsessed with rooftop everything.

The rooms are surprisingly spacious for what you’re paying, and whoever designed them actually thought about how real people use hotel rooms. There’s enough surface space for your stuff (miracle!), the shower has proper water pressure, and the AC doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off. I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but it’s comfortable in that lived-in way that makes you feel like you could actually stay for more than a night or two. The staff deserves a mention too – they’re that perfect balance of helpful without being hovering, and a few of them clearly know the area well enough to give you actual recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the tourist traps. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise charges, and they let me store my bags early without making it feel like I was asking for a personal favor. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet – you’re not going to be dealing with street noise until all hours, but you’re also not stuck in some isolated resort bubble where you need a taxi to find decent coffee. It’s that sweet spot where you feel like you’re experiencing the real place while still having somewhere comfortable to retreat to at the end of the day.

  What a wonderfull location, the most beautiful view I have ever had. The appartement was very nice and super clean, the pool was magnificant. And Maria the most kind host you could whish for.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside is that it is too high up the hill to walk up and down to the city. The way up is very steep, by car/taxi it is no problem, but by foot is it a big challange.

  The rooms are spacious, with a wonderful view of the sea, a large balcony with chairs and a table, a swimming pool and sunbeds – everything you need for a comfortable rest. The city center is close, you only need to go down the hill.

  Maria, the hotel's administrator was extremely friendly, helpful and kind, she even gave us some tips on traveling in Montenegro and how everything works there! Her advice was extremely helpful!
  The pool and the view from it was amazing, you could relax and have some quiet time without being distracted by the bustling city of Budva, which you were able to view from the pool itself.
  
  What could be improved: The only con at the hotel was the fact that it was very difficult to get rid of the trash, since the trash cans were all the way down the hill and the road to the hotel was extremely steep!

  The apartment had an excellent view across Budva and the Bay and it had all we needed for the duration of our stay. The balcony was a decent size and a nice place to sit. The air-conditioning did its job in the apartment when needed!
  
  The pool and surround was great and respectively shared amongst guests. The walk into the Old Town end of Budva was fine and we quickly got used to the climb on return. Anna and the other local agents were friendly and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: I'd have liked to have been able to pay for the holiday through Booking.com as it was not straightforward to make the necessary direct account transfer because my bank was (duty of care) concerned about the risk of "holiday" fraud.
  
  Unrelated to the property, the traffic in Montenegro was very busy and there were often long queues which diminished our appetite to drive elsewhere on visits.
  
  I've never known Google maps to under-estimate a journey time as badly as it did between Dubrovnik and Budva and this came down to the Croatia / Montenegro border crossing, which on one occasion took me more than 5 hours; it has a local reputation for being slow so this was not an isolated experience.

  Niesamowity widok zarówno z tarasu jak i z basenu. Czyste wnętrza, bardzo dobrze wyposażony apartament. Rewelacyjny basen – czysty, dobrze utrzymany z przepięknym widokiem.
