Look, I’ll be straight with you about Ana’s place – it’s one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the tour groups haven’t ruined yet. When I first walked up to the building (it’s literally behind the Jolly apartments, hence the address), I was honestly a bit skeptical. The entrance isn’t flashy, and you know how sometimes that can go either way with accommodations in Montenegro.

But man, once Ana showed me around, I got it. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious and actually feels like someone’s home rather than a sterile hotel room. Ana’s got this knack for the little touches – proper coffee in the kitchen (not those terrible instant packets), decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and she’d clearly thought about what travelers actually need. The bathroom’s got good water pressure too, which honestly saved my mornings after those late nights exploring Budva’s old town. What really sold me though was the location – you’re literally two minutes from Slovenska plaža, and I mean a real two minutes, not that tourist brochure “two minutes” that turns into a fifteen-minute hike. You can hear the waves if you open the windows at night, but it’s not so close that you’re dealing with beach crowds stumbling past at all hours.

The thing about this spot is that you’re close enough to everything that matters, but tucked away from the main drag where it gets absolutely mental during peak season. I stayed there in July (probably not my smartest timing choice), and while the main hotel strip was packed with those massive tour groups, Ana’s neighborhood stayed pretty chill. You can walk to the old town in maybe eight minutes – I timed it because I’m weird like that – and there’s this little bakery about halfway there that does these incredible burek pastries in the morning. Ana actually told me about it, which is the kind of local intel you just don’t get at the big chain places. Parking can be a bit tricky during summer months, I won’t lie, but Ana knows the neighborhood and helped me figure out where to leave the rental car without getting a ticket. The 9.6 rating isn’t just people being nice – she genuinely cares about making sure you have what you need, and in a place like Budva where some hosts are clearly just collecting tourism money, that attention actually stands out.

The concierge service in Budva can arrange exclusive boat tours, secure reservations at seaside restaurants, and organize visits to nearby Sveti Stefan and Kotor Bay.

  Приятная хозяйка Ана, плохо говорит по-английски, но мы друг друга поняли, всегда была на связи. Разрешила нам заселиться раньше. Квартира чистая, красивая, приятно пахнет, имеется все необходимое для проживания, быстрый интернет, мы остались довольны. Было тихо, несмотря на первый этаж, в 10-12 минутах ходьбы до пляжа. Есть платная подземная парковка, 10 евро/сутки.
  
  What could be improved: Регистрацию нужно было делать самим, хозяйка дала нам свои данные. Но почему-то взяла с нас оплату с учетом городского налога, но, к сожалению, мы поняли это уже после.

  Хорошо говорят на английском, встретили и помогли с заселением. Все прошло замечательно! Было чисто и уютно! Фото соответствуют реальности. Удобное расположение на отдалении от шумных центральных улиц!
