Look, I’ll be straight with you about Apartman ANNA ATINA – this little gem on Spaska Street is one of those places that completely surprised me. I mean, when you’re walking up that narrow street (and yes, it’s properly narrow, so don’t expect to park right outside), you’re not really expecting much from what looks like a pretty typical Budva residential building. But honestly? Once you get inside, it’s a different story entirely.

The thing about this place is that Anna – and I’m pretty sure that’s the actual owner’s name, not just some marketing thing – has really thought about what travelers actually need. The apartments are spotless, which in Montenegro can sometimes be… well, let’s just say it’s not always guaranteed. But here, everything feels fresh and properly maintained. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and there’s this attention to detail that you notice right away – decent towels, working shower pressure, WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes. You know what really got me though? The little welcome touches, like having proper coffee in the kitchen and not just those terrible instant packets most places dump on you.

Location-wise, you’re about a seven-minute walk to the Old Town walls, which sounds longer than it is until you realize you’re avoiding all the chaos of staying right in the thick of things. Spaska Street is residential enough that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM – and trust me, if you’ve ever stayed near Slovenska Obala during summer, you’ll appreciate the peace. But you’re still close enough that grabbing dinner at Jadran Kod Krsta or heading down to Mogren Beach doesn’t require planning your whole day around it. There’s actually a little bakery just around the corner where locals go for burek in the mornings, which tells you something about the neighborhood.

What really sets this place apart though is how it feels less like a tourist rental and more like staying at someone’s well-kept home. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook – proper knives, decent pans, even salt and oil. Small things, but when you’re traveling for more than a few days, these details matter. The balcony (at least in the unit I stayed in) catches the morning sun perfectly for coffee, and you get these glimpses of the sea between the buildings if you crane your neck just right.

Honestly, for a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight. I’ve stayed in fancier hotels in Budva that felt more like going through the motions, but Anna’s place has this genuine hospitality that’s getting harder to find. The price point makes sense too – you’re not paying Old Town premiums, but you’re not sacrificing comfort or cleanliness. Just don’t expect a pool or room service, obviously. This is quality apartment-style accommodation, not a resort. But sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

  The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Separate master bedroom for parents and big sofa-bed for kids in the living room. Perfect Bathroom with comfortable shower and great attention to detail of a host: Hairdryer, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, even earpicks. The property had a washing machine with all required detergents and it is great when you have small kids. Kitchen had all the required equipment: dishwasher, fridge, oven, kettle, even dolce gusto coffee machine. The host even left us some beverages in the fridge. Balcony with a view to the sea. The property is located on the Main Street that goes through the city, but it wasn't too noisy. It was close to the Old Town and the beaches. The host was very hospitable nice lady that picked us up from the airport in Tivat, so we didn't have to worry and search for a place. She is fluent in Italian and Serbian, but there was no problem to communicate as the host could of course use online translators. All her recommendions regarding food and excursions and transportation was worth using.

  Все было отлично. Квартира как на фото, новая хорошая мебель, есть все необходимое для проживания, много света. Очень приветливая заботливая хозяйка, за это отдельный плюс❤️
  Нам предоставили напитки и вино в качестве презента. Из квартиры видны море и горы, жить там было очень уютно и комфортно. С радостью повторили бы этот опыт снова!

  Нам действительно понравилась квартира, уютная и полностью соответствует описанию и фото. Шикарный вид на Будву и залив и 5 минут до старого города, набережной и центра. Хозяйка очень приятная и всегда на связи по любому вопросу. В холодильнике нас ждала бутылочка черногорского вина, это было очень мило 😍 мы обязательно вернемся снова. Кстати, мы были зимой (февраль 2025) и погода очень комфортная, днем гуляли в футболках🔥
