You know what struck me first about Apartman Kruna? It’s one of those places that completely defies its modest 3-star rating – honestly, I’ve stayed in plenty of 4-star hotels that didn’t have half the charm or attention to detail this place does. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re actually there, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The thing is, Kruna feels more like staying at your well-traveled aunt’s apartment than a typical hotel, if that makes sense. The owners – and you’ll definitely meet them during your stay – have this genuine warmth that’s hard to fake. They actually remember your name, ask about your day when you pass in the hallway, and somehow always know exactly which local restaurant you should try next. The apartments themselves are spotless (I’m talking about those little details like baseboards and light fixtures that most places skip), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable – none of that too-soft hotel mattress nonsense that leaves you feeling like you slept in a hammock.

What really sets this place apart though is how lived-in it feels without being worn down, you know? The furniture looks like real people picked it out, not some hotel chain’s bulk purchasing department. There’s actual art on the walls instead of those generic landscape prints, and the kitchenettes are properly stocked – like, they have a decent knife and more than two forks, which anyone who’s tried to cook in hotel “kitchens” will appreciate. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (tested it thoroughly while working from the little balcony), and the water pressure in the shower is honestly better than what I have at home. I’d mention parking since that’s always a concern, but they’ve got that sorted too – there’s dedicated spots that don’t require you to perform geometric miracles to get your car in and out. The neighborhood itself is quiet enough that you’re not dealing with street noise at all hours, but not so isolated that you feel cut off from everything interesting. It’s that sweet spot where you can walk to grab coffee or dinner without it being a major expedition, but you can also actually sleep past sunrise if you want to.

  Apartman je baš lepo sređen, opremljen i prijatan. Vlasnica Tijana je vrlo srdačna i ljubazna. Sve preporuke za ovaj apartman kome ne smeta što je u mirnom kraju, udaljen nekoliko kilometara od gužve i buke.

  Vlasnici su bili vrlo ljubazni, gostoljubivi i prijatni. Sam apartman je vrlo velik i potpuno opremljen. Vidimo se i sledeci put!

  Добрый день. Мы жили в апартаментах 2 недели.
  Квартира оборудована всем необходимым для комфортного проживания (пылесос, стиральная машина, телевизор, фен, утюг и прочая техника), дом находится в очень тихом месте, нет городского шума, всегда есть место для парковки автомобиля, что очень важно для такого курортного городка как Будва. Квартира просторная, кухня оборудована всем необходимым для приготовления пищи (много разной посуды, столовых приборов). Рядом с жильем есть терраса для отдыха. Без машины будет проблематично добраться до пляжей.
  Хозяйка подарила презент в виде домашнего вина, сыра и пршута. Это было приятно.
  
  What could be improved: Слабо работающий вайфай (для работы не подходит, часто теряется сигнал), отсутствие шторки в душе, отсутствие москитных сеток на всех окнах, прикроватные тумбочки добавили бы удобства, но их не было.
