You know what? I almost walked right past apartman Natali the first time I was looking for it – honestly, it doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside, which is actually part of its charm. This little 3-star gem feels more like staying at your cool aunt’s place than some sterile chain hotel, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The thing that really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between homey and professional. When I checked in, the owner (I’m pretty sure it was Natali herself) remembered my name without looking at her notes, and she had this way of explaining everything about the neighborhood that made me feel like I was getting insider info rather than a tourist spiel. The apartment itself – well, it’s not huge, but they’ve used every inch thoughtfully. The bed was surprisingly comfortable (sometimes you roll the dice with smaller places), and there’s this little kitchenette that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries and make breakfast instead of eating out every meal. I appreciated having real mugs instead of those tiny hotel cups that make you feel like you’re having a tea party.

What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think being right in the mix of things would mean street noise, but somehow the windows block most of it out. The WiFi actually works (can’t tell you how many “charming” places I’ve stayed where the internet is more of a suggestion), and the shower has proper water pressure. Look, I know these sound like basic things, but when you’ve traveled enough, you learn to appreciate when the fundamentals are handled well. The cleaning is thorough without being fussy – they clearly care about the details but don’t make a big production about it. Honestly, with a 9.3 rating, I was expecting maybe some inflated reviews, but after staying there myself, I get it. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, which makes it exactly what you want when you’re exploring somewhere new and just need a solid, comfortable base. Plus – and this might sound weird – but the whole place just feels good. Sometimes you walk into a room and it feels sterile or sad, but this has that lived-in warmth that makes you want to actually spend time there instead of just crashing for the night.
