Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Apartmani Asanović,” I wasn’t expecting much. Three stars, kind of tucked away, no fancy address listed anywhere. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you upfront.

The moment I walked in, I got it. This place has that lived-in authenticity that’s getting harder to find – the kind where the owner actually cares about your stay instead of just processing another booking. The apartments themselves are spotless (and I mean genuinely clean, not just surface-level), with these little touches that tell you someone’s been paying attention. Like, there’s always proper coffee in the kitchen, not those sad instant packets, and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently – which honestly matters more than people admit. The furnishings aren’t Instagram-perfect, but they’re comfortable in that way where you can actually relax instead of worrying about messing something up. I found myself staying in more evenings than I planned, just because the space felt so… well, homey.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being in an apartment building might mean dealing with noise from other guests, but the walls are solid and most people staying here seem to be the type who respect that others are trying to sleep. Parking was never an issue either – there’s always a spot somewhere nearby, which anyone who’s traveled in Europe knows isn’t something to take for granted. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too. No long lines or complicated procedures, just someone who knew what they were doing and got you sorted quickly. And here’s something I didn’t expect – when I had a minor issue with the shower pressure (nothing dramatic, just not quite right), they actually fixed it the same day. Not “we’ll look into it” or “maybe tomorrow,” but actually handled it. That 9.3 rating starts making sense when you experience this kind of attention to detail. I mean, most three-star places are perfectly fine, but this one goes a step beyond without making a big show of it. It’s the difference between staying somewhere and feeling like you’re temporarily living there, if that makes sense.

  The location is perfect: close to the beach and the shopping mall. And of course the host who was very helpfull and wellcoming. We were allowed to check in as early as 8 without any extra fees.

  very hard to say in a city under construction, the apartment was big, located in central area, near a construction site.
  
  What could be improved: The payment method that this accommodation unit has, with NO refund, the 30% payment in advance must be made by bank transfer and I paid including their fees of the bank in Montenegro in addition to the reservation cost with no explanation either from the agency or from the owners and about the ants that ended up on the toothbrushes they told us that others have even more. One bedroom has no air condition. Bathrooms, exactly as shown with a roll of toilet paper and hand soap, nothing else for 5 of us.
