You know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones you stumble across without much fanfare, and Apartmani Cupic is exactly that kind of place. I mean, it’s not going to win any architectural awards or show up on Instagram influencer feeds, but honestly – that’s part of its charm. When I first pulled up, I’ll admit I had that moment of “wait, is this it?” But after spending a few days there, I totally got why it has such solid ratings.

The thing about Cupic is that it feels like staying at someone’s well-kept family property rather than a sterile hotel chain. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – and I say surprisingly because the exterior doesn’t really hint at how roomy things are inside. You’ve got proper kitchenettes that actually work (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some local cheese and bread situations), decent-sized bathrooms, and beds that don’t leave you questioning your life choices the next morning. The owner clearly cares about the details too – fresh linens that smell like they were line-dried, little touches like local tourism brochures that are actually current, not from 2015.

What really won me over was the location situation. It’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the usual tourist chaos, but you can still walk to pretty much everything you’d want to see. I found myself taking these pleasant little strolls to cafes and markets, discovering streets I definitely wouldn’t have found if I’d stayed somewhere more “central.” The neighborhood has that authentic lived-in vibe where you see locals doing their actual daily routines – kids walking to school, older folks chatting on benches, that sort of thing. Parking was never an issue either, which honestly saved me so much stress. And here’s a random but important detail: the walls are thick enough that I never heard my neighbors, even when I knew the place was full. Sleep quality matters, you know? The whole setup just works in a way that lets you settle in and actually relax instead of constantly managing little annoyances. Sure, it’s not fancy – don’t expect a spa or room service – but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable base where everything functions properly and the price doesn’t make you wince.

  Good apartment, everything you need, great location (car parking options and walking distance to the old city). Comfortable bed and pillows. And a great view from the terrace and the smell of blooming orange trees around (the end of April). A nice helpful host.

  The host answered all my questions and even sent me a video on how to get to the house and how to get to the old town. Everything was exactly as the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need.

  Fabulous location! The apartment has fantastic views, very comfortable large bed and great shower.
  The parking was a bonus, although the space could not be reserved, we never had problems parking.
  Walking down to the old town and the beaches was very easy, the host sent us a video with directions, on which steps to use.
  
  What could be improved: It would have been useful to have some shelves in the lounge to put things on.
