You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Apartmani Mihovic – JAZ when I first pulled up – I mean, it’s a 3-star place and honestly, sometimes those can be hit or miss. But this little gem actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk in, there’s this lived-in comfort that feels authentic, not like someone staged it for photos. The apartments have that European practicality I love – everything you need is there, but it doesn’t feel cluttered or trying too hard.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re not stuck out in the middle of nowhere. I’m someone who usually packs earplugs religiously, but I actually slept through the night without them here. The owner (I’m assuming that’s Mihovic) clearly knows what travelers want because the little touches are spot-on – proper hangers in the closet, decent water pressure, and thank god, reliable WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes. The kitchenette setup is simple but functional, which honestly saved me a fortune on eating out every meal. There’s a small grocery store within walking distance where locals shop, so you get that authentic experience of figuring out what the hell you’re buying when you don’t speak the language.

Here’s the thing that really won me over – the value is incredible for what you get. I’ve stayed at places twice the price that felt half as comfortable. The 8.9 rating isn’t just inflated reviews from people’s relatives, it’s legit. Sure, it’s not going to have a marble lobby or someone carrying your bags, but that’s not what this place is about. It’s about having a genuine home base while you explore, and the staff actually seems to care about whether you’re having a good time. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises or hidden fees, and when I had a question about getting around, they gave me actual helpful advice instead of just pointing to a tourist brochure. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels real and won’t drain your travel budget, this is definitely worth booking.

  We stayed 3 nights, it was a nice stay, large rooms and clean.
  
  What could be improved: The room was too hot, I think the isolation is bad, it was July, luckily there is AC.

  It's a cozy, warm and quiet place. The hosts are very nice people, very helpfull. The apartman has everything you need – kitchen with anything you want, AC, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and a nice terrace were you can drink your coffee. Its 5 min driving from center of Budva and from Jaz Beach.

  Lovely place with a beatiful yard, great location close to Jazz beach (one of the nicest beach in Budva, 5 min by car), also close to Budva old town by car. Free and safe parking place inside the facility. Full kitchen inside if you want to prepare your foods or sandwiches for the day🙂 apartment was perfectly clean, comfortable bed, free towels. No problem to reach hot water anytime and airconditioner was perfectly working. Staff was friendly, helpful and warm so you feel yourself at home. They helped us a lot when we had a problem with our car. Thanks for everything. I fully recommend this place.

  It's a very nice family run place, the owners are super kind and nice people.
  The accomodation is very close to one of the best beach in Montenegro the Jaz beach, but it's only 15 min drive from Kotor which was our personal favourite and also 15 min from Budva center.
  Also there is a shop if you need anything for just only 5 min walk from the accomodation.
  
  What could be improved: Can't complain it was really nice to stay there. 🙂

  Our family enjoyed very much our stay at Apartmani Mihovic. The family host was very kind and friendly to us. They speak a very good English and gave us great insights regarding the surrounding beaches and even served us with fresh vegetables from their garden. Our children had total freedom to play around the house and they were served with sweets before we left. The parking for the car is great and we were totally safe at their place. The area is quiet and close to the well known beaches. We recommend this host.
