You know what’s funny about Apartmani Simona? I almost walked right past it the first time – it’s got this understated entrance that doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation,” which honestly turned out to be one of its best features. The whole place feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The apartments themselves are spotless (I’m talking genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy), and whoever designed them actually thought about how people live. There’s proper counter space in the kitchenette, decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound small but it matters – enough electrical outlets where you actually need them. The furnishings aren’t flashy, but they’re comfortable and functional. I spent most evenings on the little balcony with a glass of wine, and it was perfect for that. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire unit too, which unfortunately isn’t a given everywhere.

What really sets this place apart is the level of care from the hosts. They’re the kind of people who’ll text you restaurant recommendations that aren’t in guidebooks, or casually mention which grocery store has the best produce (and actually know your name when they see you). When I had trouble with my rental car key fob dying, they didn’t just shrug – they drove me to get it sorted. That 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you experience this kind of genuine hospitality. The location works well too – you’re not in the thick of tourist chaos, but you’re close enough that nothing feels like a major expedition. I could walk to several good restaurants within ten minutes, and there’s decent street parking most of the time, though you might have to circle the block once during busy periods. It gets pretty quiet at night, which was exactly what I needed after long days exploring. Honestly, if you’re looking for Instagram-worthy luxury or a pool scene, this isn’t your place. But if you want a comfortable, well-run apartment with hosts who actually care whether you have a good stay, Apartmani Simona delivers exactly that.

  Absolutely lovely place.
  I chose it for the location, near the beach and the old town, but got lots more than a nice location.
  The lady at reception was lovely and very helpful and made my day after a long bus ride.
  The room was very comfortable and clean.

  First of all, it's a great location. Especially, if you travel by bus. It's near bus station. Second, really fantastic people, who met us and were fantastic friendly, and third, of course, it's very wonderful place with terrace and good internet.   Great location and balcony in the room (kitchen located on balcony, you can cook outside and smell will not come inside the room). Room was good, nice option for short stay in Budva
