You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Bojana? It’s one of those places that looks decent enough online but then completely exceeds expectations when you actually walk through the door. I mean, a 9.6 rating sounds almost too good to be true, but honestly – after staying there, I get it.
The apartment has this lived-in charm that feels authentic rather than sterile, if that makes sense. The owner clearly put thought into the little things that actually matter when you’re traveling. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just some sad mini-fridge and microwave situation), the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, and there’s enough storage that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase for a week. The bed is genuinely comfortable too – I’m talking about that sweet spot between too-soft hotel mattresses and sleeping on a brick. What really impressed me was the attention to lighting; you’ve got proper reading lights by the bed and decent natural light during the day, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong.
The neighborhood itself has that genuine local feel without being completely off the beaten path. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it dies down pretty nicely in the evenings – nothing that would keep you awake unless you’re an extremely light sleeper. There’s a little café about two blocks away that locals actually go to (not just tourists), and the walk to the main attractions is totally doable if you don’t mind a bit of exercise. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season – I’d recommend asking Bojana about it when you book because she knows all the tricks. She’s incredibly responsive too, which is rare these days. I had a question about the heating system (it was March and still pretty chilly) and she got back to me within an hour with detailed instructions.
The whole experience feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying at some corporate rental. There are local guidebooks lying around, the coffee in the kitchen is actually decent quality, and you get the sense that someone genuinely cares about whether you have a good stay. It’s spotless without feeling clinical, spacious enough for two people without being cavernous, and priced reasonably for what you get. The four-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, I prefer places like this over those flashy five-star hotels where you’re paying for marble lobbies you’ll barely use.

Excellent location close to beaches and old town. Clean and modern building near food market, coffee shops and restaurants. Apartment was just as pictured. Nicely decorated with well equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa and bed. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Communication was excellent. Would stay here again!

We loved that the apartment was in a good location, close proximity to shops. The apartment complex is new and very spacious for a 1 bedroom apartment. Nice size kitchen with almost anything you may need for short term rentals. The host was very helpful. Would definitely recommend

Clean, large, modernly furnished apartment – separate bedroom, living room and kitchen. The view from the living room is towards the yard, you can also see a bit of the sea, and from the living room you can access the balcony. The house has an elevator and a separate parking space for a car in the garage (€10 per night). The apartment has everything you need – dishes, washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, etc. The apartment is close to the beach (approx. 5 min. walk) and the old town (approx. 10-15 min. walk). There are many shops and restaurants near the apartment. The apartment has air conditioner in the living room and bedroom and blackout blinds on all windows. The apartment has the option of using a baby bed free of charge. Very helpful and friendly service. Ideal place to stay for family.
What could be improved: The apartment is located near a street with a lot of traffic. The street noise is not heard in the living room when the balcony door is closed, but it is heard in the bedroom. This may bother some people. A new house is being built next to the apartment, which was under construction when we stayed there. If it is ever finished, the street noise in the bedroom will probably be a little quieter. Access by car is a bit difficult due to the narrow streets but it wasn't a problem for us. The apartment is perfect. It is carefully prepared, nicely decorated, very well cleaned, smells good, has everything you need and is at the same time minimalistic. Sea view is gradually being covered by new buildings, but it is still beautiful — in your windows you can observe an island and mountains (sea side photo attached). Air conditioners were enough to feel warm in January. Local housings use boilers to warm water. Be aware that for the system it takes time to warm it and the quantity is always limited. A lot of TV-channels, now I am fond of DocuBox 🙂
