You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Branka? The fact that it’s got a 9.6 rating as a 3-star place – and honestly, after staying there, I get it completely. This isn’t one of those flashy hotels with marble lobbies and doormen, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place, if that friend happened to have really good taste and actually cared about their guests being comfortable. Branka (I’m assuming that’s the owner’s name) has this knack for the small stuff that makes a difference – the coffee machine actually works well, there are enough power outlets where you need them, and the shower has proper water pressure. I mean, you’d be surprised how many places get these basics wrong. The space is clean in that thorough, European way where everything’s been properly maintained, not just surface-cleaned. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that weird hotel back ache, and the windows actually block out street noise if you’re a light sleeper like me.

What really won me over was the practical side of things. Check-in was straightforward – no standing around lobbies for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation.” The kitchen setup is legit if you want to grab some groceries and make breakfast instead of hunting for decent coffee at 7 AM. And here’s something I appreciated: the WiFi actually reaches every corner of the place and doesn’t cut out every time someone in the next room starts streaming Netflix. It’s these little details that make you realize someone’s actually thought about what travelers need, rather than just throwing together a rental and hoping for the best. The location works well too – you’re not stuck in some tourist trap area, but you’re not so far out that getting anywhere becomes a production either. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted somewhere that felt more like having my own space rather than just another hotel room. For a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight.

  Lokacija je odlicna. Nije na plazi ali je blizu svih prodavnica pekara, poste i tako dalje. Do plaze se dolazi jako brzo kroz dvoriste zgrade i park. Vecinom se seta po hladovini sve do glavne ulice i setalista.

  Sve je čisto, kreveti jako udobni, internet dobar, klimatizovano, vlasnica jako prijatna žena, ispred apartmana se nalaze i sprave za trening, prodavnica je blizu sve u svemu jako lep apartman.
  
  What could be improved: Plaža jeste blizu ali ta plaža i nije nesto narocito lepa, za neku lepsu plazu ima nekih 20ak minuta hoda.
  I mana je to što televizor nije smart.
