I mean, when you’re walking down 13.jul street (that’s July 13th street for non-locals), you might almost miss it, but once you’re inside, it’s like stepping into someone’s really well-appointed home rather than a typical hotel. The apartments here have this lived-in comfort that you just don’t get in those sterile chain places, and honestly, after staying in my fair share of Montenegrin accommodations, that attention to detail really stands out.

What I love about the location is that you’re literally surrounded by everything that makes Budva worth visiting, but without the tourist trap feeling. You can hear the gentle hum of the old town just a few streets over – close enough that you’ll catch whiffs of fresh seafood and hear the evening buzz from the restaurants, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk crowds stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The owner (or maybe it was the manager – friendly guy regardless) actually gave me the lowdown on which local bakeries open early and where to grab the best burek before the tour groups descend. That kind of insider knowledge is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience Montenegro like a local rather than just another tourist checking boxes.

The apartment itself felt more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying in a hotel room. Everything worked – and I mean everything, which isn’t always a given in this part of the world. The Wi-Fi was solid (crucial for me since I was working remotely), the kitchen had actual sharp knives and proper cookware, and the bathroom had that perfect water pressure you dream about after a long day exploring the coastal paths. I was there during shoulder season in late September, so I can’t speak to how it handles the summer crowds, but the building seemed well-insulated and thoughtfully designed. The fact that this place maintains a 9.9 rating isn’t just luck – it’s clear someone really cares about the guest experience here. If you’re the type of traveler who appreciates authentic local experiences over flashy hotel lobbies, and you want to actually cook a meal with ingredients from Budva’s morning market rather than eating out every night, this is exactly the kind of place you should book. Just don’t expect a concierge or room service – but honestly, that’s part of what makes it feel so refreshingly real.

Хотим отдельно поблагодарить Марину за то, что помогла найти лекарство, которое не продаётся в этой стране. Была проблема с тормозами в нашей машине – лично с нами поехала на местное СТО.
