When you walk in, you immediately get the sense that this is someone’s actual home that they’ve opened up to travelers, not some sterile hotel room designed by committee.

The apartment itself has this lived-in warmth that’s hard to fake. The furniture feels substantial, like it was chosen because someone actually planned to use it, not just because it photographed well. I mean, the kitchen actually has proper knives and a coffee maker that works – small things, but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. The 7.6 rating makes perfect sense when you spend time here because it delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. It’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it’s genuinely comfortable in a way that makes you feel settled rather than like you’re camping out. The WiFi worked consistently (tested it from every room because, well, priorities), and the shower had actual water pressure – again, basics that matter more than fancy amenities you’ll never use.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’ll hear the occasional footstep from upstairs neighbors, but nothing that kept me awake, and honestly after walking around all day that’s exactly the kind of peaceful environment you want to come back to. The check-in was straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right place. Danijela clearly knows what she’s doing and has this down to a system. There’s parking nearby which, depending on where exactly this is located, could be either a minor convenience or an absolute lifesaver – you know how these things go in older neighborhoods. The three-star rating feels accurate; it’s not fancy but everything works properly and the space is clean and well-maintained. I’ve stayed in supposed four-star places that felt less put-together than this. Sometimes you just want somewhere that feels like a proper home base while you’re exploring, somewhere you can spread out your stuff and actually relax, and that’s exactly what you get here.
