You know what struck me first about Apartment Dragan? It’s one of those places that completely flies under the radar – I mean, it doesn’t even show up properly on some booking sites (the address thing is a bit of a mess online), but honestly, that’s almost part of its charm. When I finally found it, I realized I’d stumbled onto something that feels more like staying at a friend’s place than checking into a typical hotel.

The whole setup is refreshingly straightforward. Dragan – and yes, that’s actually the owner’s name, not some marketing gimmick – has created this little gem that somehow manages to feel both homey and properly professional. The apartment itself is spotless, and I’m talking about the kind of clean where you can tell someone actually cares about the details, not just the obvious stuff. The kitchen had everything I needed (decent coffee maker, thank god), and the bathroom had those thick towels that you don’t usually get at three-star places. What really got me though was the little touches – fresh flowers on the table when I arrived, local honey in the fridge, that sort of thing. It’s clear Dragan knows what travelers actually want versus what hotels think they want.

The location is… well, it’s interesting. You’re not going to be in the middle of everything, but that’s actually a good thing if you ask me. The neighborhood has this authentic feel where you’ll see locals going about their business, and there’s a fantastic bakery about two blocks down that opens crazy early – perfect if you’re dealing with jet lag. Parking was surprisingly easy, which anyone who’s tried to navigate European city centers with a rental car will appreciate. The only minor thing is that it can get a bit quiet in the evenings, but honestly, after days of sightseeing, I found that pretty perfect. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works exactly like it should, and Dragan genuinely seems to enjoy hosting people. He gave me restaurant recommendations that were spot-on and helped sort out a local SIM card situation that would’ve been a nightmare otherwise. If you’re looking for something authentic without sacrificing comfort, this place delivers.

  Everything was perfect. This is new and clean apartment in the modern building located in the very town center. It is located on the 6th floor and has nice city/mountain view.
  There are lot of supermarkets in easy walking distance, pharmacies, anything you need. Wi-fi is not very fast, but stable.
  Dragan is a great host! Highly recommended. I would be happy to come back here.
