You know what struck me first about Apartment Golub? It’s tucked away on this little street called Babilonija that most tourists probably walk right past – which is actually perfect because you get that authentic Budva vibe without the constant buzz of the main drag. I mean, you’re still close enough to everything that matters, but there’s something refreshing about stepping out your door and not immediately being surrounded by souvenir shops and restaurant hawkers.

The building itself has this unpretentious charm that I really appreciated. It’s not trying to be some fancy resort (hence the 3-star rating), but honestly? The 9.4 rating tells the real story here. The owners clearly put thought into the small stuff that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere. The apartments are genuinely comfortable – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in way too many places that look great in photos but feel sterile in person. Here, you get proper living space with a kitchen that’s actually functional (not just decorative), which is huge if you want to grab fresh produce from the local market and make breakfast without paying hotel restaurant prices every morning.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you’re still in central Budva. The Babilonija location means you’re sheltered from the late-night party crowd that tends to migrate along the coastal streets, but you can still walk to Slovenska Beach in maybe ten minutes – fifteen if you’re taking your time and stopping to peek into the little bakeries along the way. The Old Town is equally close, which you’ll appreciate when you want to wander those medieval walls without having to plan your whole evening around getting back to your room. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area (let’s be honest, it’s Budva in summer), but the hosts seem to know the local tricks and actually help you figure it out rather than just shrugging and wishing you luck. That kind of personal attention is probably why the rating is so high – they’re running this place like they actually care about your experience, not just processing bookings.

  Very well furnished, fully equipped apartment which has everything needed for the stay. The apartment is very clean, has a large balcony which will make the stay pleasant. There are markets, a lot of cafes, and bakeries nearby. It is approx 7 min to the beach, which is the best in the neighbourhood. The host deserves a special mention: Petar is very helpful with any question that may arise, like organizing transfer, recommending the best places to eat, etc. It was a great pleasure to deal with him and we are very thankful to him.

  The location is superb far from club noise. The district is calm, near you may find a market, and not far from the apartment you may find several supermarkets. The apartment is clean, and very nice with a big balcony to enjoy evenings in front of a big mountain. All the necessary things exist in the apartment. The owner is the best person we met in Montenegro. Petar is a very hospitable and helpful person. He did his best to help with all our concerns. This was the best choice among others in Montenegro. We are very grateful.

  Apartman je komforan i cist. Opremljen apsolutno svim sto je potrebno!
  Terasa velika i uvek u hladu.
  Plaza je udaljena 10ak minuta od stana pesaka.
  Stari grad oko pola sata lagane setnje.
  Besplatan parking ispred zgrade imate uz malo srece da nadjete mesto 🙂

  Veoma komforan apartman, idealan za porodicu. Od sadržaja ima sve što vam je potrebno za ugodan boravak. Veeelika terasa je definitivno najbolji dio stana 🙂 Domaćin bio veoma ljubazan.

  Unser Urlaub war wunderschön! Die Wohnung hat schon alles, was nötig wurde: Klima in jedem Zimmer, viel Geschirr, viele Badetücher. Alles ist sehr sauber! Gemütlich wie zuhause! Supermarkt ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Lebensmittel kosten bisschen weniger als in Deutschland, aber viel viel besser und lecker!
  Strand ist mit Sand und mit den Steinen gemischt, Wasser ist transparent und sehr sauber!!!!
  Überall sind schöne blühende Bäume und Büsche!
  Ich empfehle allen Montenegro und auch diese Appartament!

  Pobyt w obiekcie spełnił moje oczekiwania. Rewelacyjna lokalizacja, duża przestrzeń, dobra cena. Właściciel mieszkania był dla nas bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny – zorganizował nam transfer z lotniska, odpowiadał na wszelkie prośby. Zdecydowanie polecam 🙂
