The apartment I stayed in had this lived-in comfort that you just don’t get at those sterile hotel chains – real coffee cups instead of paper ones, a kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking (not just reheating), and honestly, the kind of Wi-Fi that doesn’t make you want to throw your laptop out the window. The whole vibe is more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place than a hotel, which I guess makes sense given the name and setup.

Here’s the thing about Budva though – location is everything, and Apartment Juliette seems to nail this balance between being accessible but not right in the middle of the summer chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the old town without much fuss, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM (trust me, this matters in Budva during peak season). The check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward “meet me at the corner with a handwritten sign” situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

What really sold me was the attention to local touches. There were actual recommendations for places locals eat, not just the tourist traps near the marina. Small stuff like decent shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and air conditioning that works without sounding like a helicopter landing in your room. I stayed during late July when Budva gets absolutely packed, and while you could hear the city humming, it never felt overwhelming or intrusive. The building itself feels solid and well-maintained – you know how some of these coastal places can feel a bit thrown together for the tourist rush.

Honestly, that 9.9 rating starts making sense when you add up all these little things. It’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it works in all the ways that matter when you’re actually trying to enjoy Montenegro rather than just survive your accommodation.   The apartment is well-appointed, modern, light, comfortable and clean. It is located in a nice residence complex in a busy neighborhood but it is facing nature and the only "noise" you can hear is beautiful chirrping of birds. This along with the most comfortable bed offers you great sleep and tranquil atmosphere thoroughout the day.
  There is also a big supermarket at the bottom of the buildig complex which is very convenient.
  
  The host were amazing – responsive, kind and accomodating and I would highly recommed this place to a single person or a couple.

  The host, Jelena, is a very friendly person. The house was within walking distance of the center and the old town. The house was convenient and clean. Thank you very much to Jelena and her husband for everything.

  Apartment is located very close to everything. To Budva Old City, to Budva Bus Station. What is good part about the apartment is that you have big supermarket on first floor. Room is very clean and makes you feel like you are at your own house. You have WiFi with high speed internet, TV with more than 300 channels, hot water, cold water, electricity running 24 hours. You have a kitchen with stove where you can make yourself meal, also you have big refrigerator, kettle to make a hot tea after long walks. With simple words you will feel yourself here at home.

  I would like to recommend this apartment to everyone, especially because of the hosts. Milan and Jelena contacted me days before my arrival and gave me a lot of tips about Montenegro. They made sure I would get there without problem, even suggesting taking me straight from the airport to the apartment. It was my first time in Montenegro, so such help was appreciated a lot.
  
  After my arrival and accommodation, they asked me what I wanted to do and sent me recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat, stressing that I should contact them whenever I needed anything. We used WhatsApp, so all communication between us wasn’t intrusive, which was, for me, very comfortable.
  
  About the apartment itself, as a welcome gift, I got a bottle of wine, which was nice after a long journey. Also, there were some maps of Budva and Kotor, so I could plan my trips. The apartment has everything you need, so don’t worry. The shop and ATM are in the same building. The bus station is 10 minutes away, the same as the city center, beach, and old town. I’m really glad that during my first trip there I found such nice accommodation. 😊
