Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Apartment Mark,” I wasn’t expecting much. The name’s pretty basic, and it’s got that whole three-star thing going on, but you know what? Sometimes the places that don’t try too hard to impress you end up being exactly what you need.

Walking in, it’s clear this isn’t trying to be some fancy boutique spot, and that’s actually refreshing. The lobby has this lived-in feel – not shabby, just… real, I guess. Like someone’s grandmother decorated it and then left it alone for twenty years in the best possible way. The staff behind the desk genuinely seemed happy to see me, which honestly caught me off guard because I’m so used to that rehearsed hotel smile thing. Check-in was quick – none of that “let me tell you about seventeen amenities you don’t care about” routine.

The rooms are what I’d call surprisingly solid. I mean, we’re not talking marble bathrooms or Egyptian cotton sheets, but everything works the way it should. The bed was actually comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the shower had decent water pressure, which – let’s be real – is half the battle at places like this. There’s this old-school charm to the whole setup, like the heavy wooden furniture that’s probably been there since the place opened but is built to last another fifty years. The walls are thick enough that I barely heard my neighbors, except for some guy who apparently loved watching action movies at full volume around 10 PM, but even that wasn’t terrible.

What really got me was how the place just… works. You know those hotels where something’s always broken or the WiFi cuts out every five minutes? Not here. Everything’s maintained properly, like someone actually cares about the place running smoothly. The cleaning crew does their job right – I could tell they’d been through, but it didn’t smell like a chemical factory afterward. And honestly, for what you’re paying, that 8.7 rating makes complete sense. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, but what it does, it does well.

The whole experience reminded me why I sometimes prefer these smaller spots over the big chain hotels. There’s something to be said for a place that focuses on getting the basics right instead of dazzling you with amenities you’ll never use. I slept well, the coffee in the morning was decent (not great, but decent), and I left feeling like I’d gotten good value for my money. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a hotel – no drama, no surprises, just a clean, comfortable place to crash that doesn’t make you feel like you’re being nickel-and-dimed at every turn.

  Small but really cute apartment. Bedroom.and kitchen with sofa and diner table. Two separate room, so you can play DoTa when your children take a sleep. Everything you need include washing machine, and a lot of homestaff.

  Čistota apartmana i potpuna opremljenost (peškiri, kuhinja, fen, pegla, žica za sušenje veša, kućna hemija, dodatna posteljina i jastuci).
