Honestly, when I first pulled up to Apartment Maska, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place – but man, was I wrong about this one. The building itself has this understated charm that you don’t really notice until you’re inside, and then everything just clicks. It’s one of those spots where someone clearly cares about the details, you know? Like, the lobby smells faintly of coffee and something floral (maybe jasmine?), and there’s this warm lighting that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment rather than just another hotel.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even during what I assumed would be peak hours. I mean, I’m usually the person who brings earplugs everywhere because I’m such a light sleeper, but I actually didn’t need them here. The rooms have this solid, settled feel – thick walls, I guess, or maybe just good design. And the staff… well, they’re not overly chatty, but they seem to anticipate what you need before you ask. Check-in was maybe three minutes, tops. The woman at the front desk just handed me the key and said “fourth floor, elevator’s around the corner” like she already knew I’d figure out the rest. Which I did, and it was refreshing not to get the whole spiel about breakfast hours and WiFi passwords.

The room itself surprised me – it’s bigger than you’d expect, with these nice touches that feel personal rather than corporate. There’s actual art on the walls (not those generic hotel prints), and the bed… honestly, I slept better than I do at home. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with water pressure that actually works and towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. What I loved most, though, was the little sitting area by the window. Perfect for morning coffee or just watching people go about their day outside. You can tell this place gets a lot of repeat visitors – there’s that lived-in comfort that only comes when people actually want to come back. The 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be fancy or impress anyone, it’s just genuinely good at being exactly what it is. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a home base than a pit stop, this is your spot.

  Good, clean apartments. The apartment had everything: laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, sponges, cloths, coffee, sugar, salt, tea, and even a complimentary bottle of wine as a gift.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside is that there were no window screens, which resulted in a lot of mosquitoes. I recommend the host install screens on the windows and a retractable screen on the balcony door. Everything else was wonderful.

  Everything was perfect!
  The apartment was clean and has perfect location (close to the big supermarket (5 minutes walking) and to the beach (10 minutes walking with the kids)).
  There were all supplies in it for cooking and spending wonderful time there.
  The landlord is a very lovely person, who met us at bus station and helped with everything. High 10 for the place!

  The property was very clean and the space was surely enough for a 4-person group. We each had our rooms and a common living room. The location is amazing, a 10-minute walk from the beach and 15-minute walk from the city old town. The host is also very friendly and nice, he was always one phone call away if we had any questions. Very nice apartment!
