Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Apartment Nika with jacuzzi,” I was expecting something pretty standard. You know how these rental places can be hit or miss, especially in Budva where tourism has exploded in recent years. But this place actually surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible.
The location on XVI Ulica is one of those spots that feels perfectly Budva without being right in the chaos of the Old Town. You’re close enough to walk to Slovenska Beach in about ten minutes (and trust me, you’ll want those morning beach walks), but far enough from the main strip that you won’t have drunk tourists singing outside your window at 3 AM. The neighborhood has this nice residential feel – you’ll see locals hanging laundry and kids playing in the small courtyards, which honestly gives you a much better sense of what Montenegro is actually like beyond the tourist bubble. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season – I ended up having to circle the block a few times – but that’s pretty standard for this part of town.
What really sets this place apart is that jacuzzi, and I know it sounds cheesy, but hear me out. After spending days walking around Budva’s cobblestone streets (which are beautiful but murder on your feet) or hiking up to the Citadel for sunset photos, sinking into that hot water feels like pure luxury. The apartment itself has this cozy, lived-in quality that makes it feel more like staying at a friend’s place than some sterile rental. The kitchen is actually functional – I mean, you can cook real meals here, not just reheat leftovers. The owner clearly put thought into the little things: good water pressure in the shower, decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and windows that actually block out light if you want to sleep in after a late night exploring Budva’s surprisingly good restaurant scene.
The 9 rating honestly makes sense once you stay here. It’s not trying to be some fancy resort – it’s just a really well-done apartment that delivers exactly what it promises. During shoulder season (late May or early September, which is when you should visit Montenegro anyway), the whole area takes on this relaxed vibe where you can actually enjoy the Adriatic without fighting crowds for every decent photo spot. The walk to the marina takes you past some great local bakeries – there’s this one place that does amazing burek that the owner mentioned, though I’m terrible with Montenegrin street names. You’ll find it though, just follow the smell of fresh pastry in the morning.

Great – Alsahawneh from Poland – June 11, 2025 (10/10)
The host was amazing and helpful. The apartment was clean and as mentioned. The location was soo good around 10 minutes to the beach and there is supermarkets for 4 minutes walking and full serviced area. Easy to go out to main road by car to travel out of the city. The private parking is a huge plus as it would be hard to park in public. Great experience and host.

Nice host, but we would have booked something else if we knew what we are coming to. – Julia from Poland – May 13, 2025 (5/10)
Early check-in and available parking were appreciated. The location was also quite good. Host was nice.
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the stay had some issues. There was ongoing construction nearby, even on Sunday, and with no air conditioning available during this time of year (we weren’t informed about this before), it was difficult to keep windows open due to the noise. The TV wasn’t working, and we were not informed in advance. Basic amenities were missing – no dish soap, and just 1.5 toilet paper rolls for a three-night stay. The hairdryer would collapse during use, the hand soap was diluted, and one light bulb kept blinking constantly. The hot tub, which was a key selling point, took an hour to fill due to very low water pressure (on the first night. Later it was fine). Everything looked okay at first glance, but it kept getting worse 🙁 Communication with the host was not perfect, sadly – we felt like she didn’t understand English well and sent confusing messages/couldn’t understand us.Bad – Görkem from Turkey – December 26, 2023 (1/10)
What could be improved: Cancelled our reservation
Wonderful – Joanna from Germany – May 2, 2025 (9/10)
Schludnie, czysto i pachnąco. Bardzo fajny, nowoczesny apartament. Miła, pomocna właścicielka. Dużym plusem jest jacuzzi.
What could be improved: Na 5 nocy dostaliśmy pół rolki papieru toaletowego. Nie ma żadnych środków czystości typu płyn i ścierka do zmywania. Jest tylko jedna, "starożytna" patelnia, z której je się posiłek wraz z resztkami teflonu.Exceptional – Perišić from Serbia – January 3, 2025 (10/10)
Sve, od apartmana do vlasnice koja je bila vrlo gostoljubiva i na usluzi za sve što nam je bilo potrebno u vezi apartmana i Budve uopšte.
