You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Ruzica? It’s one of those places that completely defies its three-star rating – honestly, I’ve stayed at four-star hotels that felt less thoughtful than this spot. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about the details here, not just going through the motions of running a place to sleep.

Ruzica (the owner, I’m guessing?) has this knack for anticipating what you’ll actually need during your stay. The apartment itself feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying somewhere commercial – there’s real coffee in the kitchen, not those terrible instant packets, and the shower pressure is actually decent, which honestly can make or break a trip. I mean, the furnishings aren’t going to win any design awards, but everything works properly and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The bed situation is comfortable enough that I wasn’t counting down hours until checkout, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time you try to video call home.

What really sold me on this place though – and probably explains that impressive 9.1 rating – is how it strikes this perfect balance between giving you privacy and making sure you’re not completely on your own if something goes wrong. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward (no endless forms or upselling attempts), and when I had a question about the heating system, someone actually responded quickly instead of making me wait around. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, not just tourists taking selfies every five feet. There’s a grocery store close enough that you can grab breakfast supplies without planning a major expedition, and the area stays pretty quiet at night – no party crowds stumbling around at 3 AM. Sure, it’s not going to give you that glossy hotel lobby experience with marble everything and uniformed staff, but if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable base where you can actually relax between exploring, this hits the mark. Plus, for what you’re paying, the value proposition is honestly pretty hard to beat.

  The apartment was clean, spacious enough for 2 people with new, comfortable furniture. The host was super friendly and welcoming. She has clean towels and additional blankets and bed sheets for you to use. The apartment has parking, but it is in a walking distance to the beach, old town, and everything else you might need.

  The property was the perfect walking distance to all amenities and the beach. The area was very safe. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to any query. The bed was extremely comfortable and the WiFi and smart Tv were a great addition. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody staying in Budva.

  Budva merkeze yürüyerek 10dk mesafede, aracımızı koymamız için bize ger gün yer tuttular işletme sahibi cana yakındı. Yatak, çarşaflar, balkon ve banyo temizdi.

  Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und konnten uns gute Tipps für Restaurants geben.
  Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann die Promenade in nur 7 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen.
  
  What could be improved: Die Unterkunft ist ein einzelnes Zimmer mit kleiner Küchenzeile und einem anliegenden Bad. Anders als bei Booking angegeben, ist die Unterkunft inklusive Badezimmer und Balkon keine 40 m2, sondern eher 20 m2 groß.
  Die Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet. Eine Pfanne, ein Messer, und lediglich tiefe Teller. Das Geschirr war zudem dreckig. Spülmittel und Spülschwamm mussten von uns selbstständig angeschafft werden, da lediglich etwas mit Wasser verdünntes Spülmittel vorhanden war.
  Im Badezimmer befand sich Schimmel an der Decke. Der Duschschlauch war nicht dicht und spritze immer in die entgegengesetzte Richtung der Duschkopfes. Es gab außerdem nur ein Handtuch, obwohl für zwei Gäste gebucht war.
  Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktioniert zwar gut, sie befindet sich jedoch so auf das Bett gerichtet, dass man über Nacht krank wird, wenn man sie laufen lassen würde.
  Das Zimmer hatte keinen Vorhang, weshalb es morgens sehr hell war. Ausschlafen war nicht möglich.

  What could be improved: Não tinha esponja para lavar louça, não tinha frigideira para cozinhar, o chuveiro é PÉSSIMO, nao funciona e vc tem que ficar segurando ele pra tomar banho. A limpeza do lugar nao estava boa, tinha partes com teias de aranha. A cortina não existia deixava o quarto 100% claro as 5 da manhã! A moça pediu para que saíssemos as 9 sendo que o check out era as 10. Mas conversando ela “deixou” sair às 10.
