My apartment was larger than I expected, with a proper balcony that caught the morning sun perfectly. The kitchen isn’t fancy, but it’s got everything you need if you want to grab fresh fish from the market and cook it yourself — which, honestly, I’d recommend doing at least once. The air conditioning works well (crucial in summer), and the Wi-Fi is solid enough for video calls back home. What I appreciated most was how clean everything felt, not that sterile hotel clean, but like someone actually cares about the space.

The beach here is what sold me on the whole area. It’s this gorgeous stretch of pebbles and sand that’s way less crowded than Budva’s main beaches, especially in the mornings. The whole neighborhood has this laid-back vibe where you’ll see families from Serbia and Bosnia coming for their annual holidays, which gives you a real sense of how locals vacation here.

The parking situation is actually manageable (rare for this area), and Sandra knows everything about the region if you want recommendations beyond the typical tourist spots. Couples seem to especially love this place, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having your own little space with a sea view, being able to make coffee on your balcony in the morning, then walk to the beach whenever you feel like it. It’s simple, but sometimes simple is exactly what you need.
