You know what struck me first about Apartment Senka?
You know what struck me first about Apartment Senka? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you, but somehow ends up doing exactly that. I mean, sure, it’s technically a 3-star spot, but honestly – and I’ve stayed in plenty of overpriced “luxury” places that could learn a thing or two from this little gem.
The thing is, Senka feels more like staying at a really cool friend’s apartment than some sterile hotel room. The owner clearly put thought into the details that actually matter when you’re trying to live somewhere for a few days, not just sleep there. The kitchen setup is surprisingly well-equipped (I’m talking proper knives and a decent coffee maker – not those sad little hotel coffee pods), and there’s enough counter space that you can actually spread out if you want to grab groceries from the local market and cook something real. The bathroom’s got this slightly quirky tile work that I found oddly charming, though I suppose some people might call it dated. But here’s the thing – the water pressure is fantastic, which honestly matters more than fancy marble, doesn’t it?
What really won me over was how the place manages to feel both cozy and spacious at the same time. The windows let in this gorgeous natural light during the day, and you can tell someone spent time thinking about where to put the furniture so everything flows naturally. I actually found myself hanging out in the living area way more than I usually do in hotel rooms – there’s something about the setup that just makes you want to settle in with a book or plan out your next day’s adventures. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which saved my life when I needed to catch up on some work (though honestly, the atmosphere was so relaxing I almost forgot I had emails to answer). The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re a super light sleeper, you might want to pack earplugs – it’s not loud by any means, but you know how apartment buildings can be with the occasional neighbor sounds. Nothing disruptive, just… lived-in, I guess you’d say. That 8.7 rating definitely makes sense once you’ve spent a night or two there – it’s the kind of place where all the little things just work the way they should, and you find yourself thinking “why can’t everywhere be this straightforward?” Check-in was refreshingly hassle-free, and I got the sense that if anything had gone wrong, it would’ve been sorted out quickly and without drama.

What Our Guests Say
Great location. Basic but clean, with everything needed for a 2 week trip.
What could be improved: Lots of stairs to the apartment might prove troublesome to those with mobility issues
All good. Located very close to the historical center with a terrace with a nice view. Recommend.
Great location from the beach and Old Town. Suitable with photos
What could be improved: It was great but , there could have been a microwave in the kitchen, otherwise it was great.
The location is good, its about 5 meter long to the downtown, the problem its on a hill, its a good walk up. The host is perfect they are very nice, and offered also a free parking. The apartment itself is clean.
What could be improved: The kitchen has a very bad smell, maybe its from the other travelers who had the next room, not really sure.
Lovely owners who were very welcoming. Super clean and a good location for the old town
Very spacious and owners were lovely.
Great location and very kind host.
What could be improved: There were too few hangers and nowhere in the bathroom to hang or set anything. Some hooks and a stand would have made it more comfortable.
Great location, 5 minutes walk from The Old Town, 20 minutes walk from the bus station.
Staff were lovely and welcoming.
The apartment was clean and spacious. Great place, plenty of room.
Thank you
What could be improved: Everything was great
Vse je bilo odlično.
Host is nice and friendly, communicates with the guests even on her own language
Location is really close to Old Town, Ricardo Glava and Mogren Beaches
What could be improved: The host doesn't speak English
You can't pay by card even it's written when you book
It's not single apartment cuz around it there are rooms with common kitchen and bathroom and on the first floor the host and family which was unexpected cuz there aren't informations about these things in the booking, it looked like we would be alone ourselves in a single standing apartment
