Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Apartment Stanisic in Stanišići, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The address just says “bb” (which basically means “no number” in Montenegro), but don’t let that throw you off. It’s actually pretty easy to find once you’re in the Stanišići area, which sits just outside Budva’s main tourist chaos – and honestly, that’s exactly where you want to be.

The thing about this place is that it gets you close enough to everything without dumping you right into the madness of Budva’s Old Town crowds. You’re maybe a 10-minute drive from the main beaches and the historic center, but when you come back in the evening, there’s actual peace and quiet. The owner clearly knows what they’re doing – everything feels thoughtfully put together rather than just thrown together for tourists. I mean, you can tell this is someone’s actual property that they care about, not some corporate rental situation. The apartment itself has that lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than a sterile hotel room. There’s proper kitchen space (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and – this matters more than you’d think – good water pressure in the shower.

What really sold me on the location is how it gives you options. Want to hit Budva’s beaches and restaurants? Easy drive down the hill. Need groceries or want to see how locals actually live? You’re right there in a real neighborhood. The parking situation is way less stressful than anywhere in central Budva, which anyone who’s driven around there in July will appreciate. And you know what? Sometimes it’s nice to step outside and hear birds instead of drunk tourists at 2 AM. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works the way it should. The check-in was straightforward, the place was clean without that overpowering chemical smell some rentals have, and there were actually decent coffee supplies in the kitchen (small thing, but it matters when you’re figuring out your morning routine). I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to explore more of the Budva area rather than just parking myself on one beach for a week.

  The apartment has a very nice view and a great staff, who are quick to reply. Also, we were invited as guests to one of their event, which included live folk dances and meals!
  
  What could be improved: While we specified, that we're coming with 6 people and had 2 big beds and a sofa bed, it wasn't big enough for 2 people. We asked for a separate bed, which they brought, but wasn't comfortable and making less space in the living room, so we weren't able to use it for anything other than sleeping (but the apartment has 1 small and 1 big balcony, where you can spend some time if the weather isn't windy).
  
  Also, while on booking it states, that the price includes all taxes, etc, they said that we have to pay a separate tax. Which we were able to discuss and sort out in person.

  Bardzo polecam to miejsce! Niezwykle mili i pomocni gospodarze. Przepiękne widoki z balkonów, klimatyczne wnętrze. Czysto, niczego nam nie brakowało.
