But walking up to this family-run spot, there’s something immediately welcoming about it. The owners, the Vidakovic family, have this genuine warmth that you just can’t fake, and they actually seem to remember your name after the first day.

What really got me was the location – I mean, Rafailovici isn’t as crazy busy as central Budva, but you’re literally a three-minute walk to this gorgeous stretch of beach that the locals prefer over the main tourist strips. The apartment itself is clean and functional (no fancy frills, but everything works), and here’s the thing that surprised me most: the balcony view. You catch glimpses of the Adriatic between the olive trees, and in the evenings when the light hits just right, it’s honestly pretty spectacular for a 3-star place. The beds are actually comfortable – not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get stuck with – and the kitchenette has everything you need if you want to grab fresh tomatoes and cheese from the little market down the hill.

Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (July and August get insane around here), but there’s usually space if you’re not picky about walking an extra block or two. The family speaks decent English, which helps, and they’re full of those insider tips that make a difference – like which konoba serves the best seafood without the tourist markup, or when the local buses actually run on time. The 9.8 rating makes total sense once you stay here; it’s not luxury, but it’s exactly what it promises to be, and the Vidakovic family clearly cares about their guests having a good experience. If you’re looking for a genuine Montenegro coastal experience without the resort prices, this place delivers.

  Рядом с квартирой прокат машин..Гараж для парковки недалеко. Автобусы тоже ходят регулярно. Остановка рядом с гаражем. Пляжи в двух шагах. .Недалеко комплексные обеды
