Hotel Description
You know what’s funny about Budva? Everyone talks about staying right in the Old Town, but honestly, I think Apartments 110 might have figured out the sweet spot. It’s tucked away on Babilonija street – and before you panic about being “too far,” we’re talking maybe a 10-minute stroll to all the medieval walls and waterfront action. The thing is, you actually get to sleep at night here, which I can’t say about some places I’ve crashed right in the thick of things.
The apartments themselves are nothing fancy on paper – I mean, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble everything – but there’s something refreshingly honest about the whole setup. The rooms are properly sized (not those shoebox situations you sometimes get), and whoever’s running this place actually seems to care. Like, the Wi-Fi works, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a tractor, and there’s real attention to keeping things clean. I stayed during peak summer season and was genuinely surprised how quiet it stayed, even with the windows open. You get these little glimpses of local life – neighbors hanging laundry, kids playing in the courtyard areas – that you miss when you’re staying in some generic resort bubble.
What really sold me on this spot was the morning routine. There’s this bakery about two blocks down where locals grab their burek, and you can walk to the beach before the day-trippers descend from the cruise ships. The Slovenska Plaza area is right there if you want the full beach club experience, but you can also find these smaller rocky spots along the coast that feel almost private – especially if you head out early. Parking was way easier than I expected too, which, if you’ve ever tried to navigate Budva’s old streets with a rental car, you’ll appreciate. The 9.3 rating isn’t just people being nice – it’s one of those places that does the basics really well without trying to be something it’s not. Perfect for when you want to actually experience Montenegro instead of just posting photos of it.
Best hotels in Budva range from charming boutique properties in the historic old town to elegant beachfront resorts with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding mountains.
