First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Apartments 110 in Budva, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly scream excitement, but sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard. This three-star property sits right in Babilonija, which locals will tell you is actually one of the most coveted spots in town. The building has that clean, modern look that fits perfectly with Budva’s mix of old-world charm and contemporary comfort. What really caught my attention was how quiet it felt despite being so centrally located.
Location That Actually Matters
You know what’s refreshing? A hotel that’s genuinely well-positioned rather than just claiming to be. Apartments 110 in Budva earned its 9.5 location score for good reason — I could walk to the Old Town’s medieval walls in about eight minutes, hit the main beaches in five, and still retreat to a peaceful neighborhood when I needed a break from the summer crowds. The Babilonija area has this perfect balance where you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the late-night party noise that can make other parts of Budva challenging for light sleepers. Plus, there’s actual free parking on-site, which anyone who’s driven around Montenegro’s coast will appreciate.
The Apartment Experience
The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed place than a typical hotel room. Mine had a proper kitchenette — not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker, but actual cooking space with decent appliances. The living area was thoughtfully laid out with comfortable seating and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I mean, the decor won’t win any design awards, but everything was clean, functional, and honestly more spacious than I expected for the price point.
Neighborhood Insights
What I really loved about staying here was getting to experience Budva like more of a temporary resident. There’s a small market just around the corner where I’d grab fresh produce and local cheese — the kind of place where the owner started recognizing me after day two. The walk into town takes you through some lovely residential streets where you’ll see how locals actually live, past small cafes that don’t make it into guidebooks but serve excellent coffee. It’s particularly great for couples (apparently they rate the location even higher than solo travelers), probably because you get that romantic small-town feel while still having easy access to Budva’s restaurants and nightlife.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — just a well-run, comfortable place in an excellent location with thoughtful touches like that free parking. The value proposition is solid, especially during peak season when beachfront hotels charge premium rates. You’re getting the independence of an apartment with the reliability of a hotel, in a spot that puts you right in the heart of everything without the chaos. For travelers who want to explore Budva properly rather than just pass through, this place actually delivers on what matters most.
Best hotels in Budva range from charming boutique properties in the historic old town to elegant beachfront resorts with stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding mountains.
