First Impressions

Apartments Angela sits on a quiet residential street just a few minutes’ walk from Budva’s Old Town, and honestly, the location is pretty much perfect. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the buzz from the main tourist areas, but far enough away that you can actually get some sleep at night. The building itself is nothing fancy — it’s a typical Montenegrin three-star property — but it’s clean, well-maintained, and the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable.

Location & Getting Around

What really sets this place apart is how walkable everything is from here. Budva’s famous beaches are literally a five-minute stroll down the hill, and you can reach the Old Town walls in about the same time. The parking situation is actually a huge plus — they’ve got free private spots on-site, which is honestly a godsend in Budva where finding a place to leave your car can be a nightmare during summer months. I’ve stayed in other places where you’re circling the block for twenty minutes just hoping for a spot.

The Apartment Experience

Each apartment comes with its own kitchenette, which turned out to be way more useful than I expected. You know what’s great? Being able to grab fresh produce from the local market and make your own breakfast instead of paying tourist prices at every meal. The room layouts are practical rather than fancy — you’ve got everything you need without any unnecessary frills. The air conditioning works well (crucial during those sweltering July afternoons), and the Wi-Fi is reliable enough for staying connected.

What Makes It Work

The staff here actually know what they’re doing, and they’re genuinely helpful without being overly formal about it. When I needed directions to some of the less touristy beaches along the coast, they didn’t just point me toward the obvious spots — they gave me real local recommendations. The cleaning service is thorough, and I appreciated that they respected the “do not disturb” signs instead of knocking at 8 AM like some places do.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy place you’ll ever stay, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually want — a comfortable base in an excellent location without breaking the bank. Couples seem to particularly appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the fact that you can easily explore both the historic sites and the beach scene without needing to take taxis everywhere. The combination of free parking, kitchen facilities, and that prime location near the Old Town makes it especially appealing for people who want some independence during their stay. You’re paying for substance over style here, and honestly, that’s exactly what works about this place.

  Very cute small room but yet has everything that might be needed for the comfortable stay. We liked it a lot. AC is working perfectly, very nice when it’s hot to have the room cooled down quickly. The host was very nice and friendly.

  What could be improved: We took apartments with 2 rooms. There was an air conditioner only in one of them. The Air conditioner didn't cool the room, so it was very hot all the time. I had to open all doors and windows so that I was able to breathe.
  We stayed at the beginning of June.
  I had found only two other feedbacks on Booking about air conditioner, so it didn't stop me from booking.

  The apartments are a a little further away from the beach and all the crowd. Nearby there are few grocery shops, as well as bakeries, places to eat.
  The owner was waiting for our arrival and everything was smooth.
  
  What could be improved: The owner was not speaking english, so we improvised and used some gesture language 😀 And it worked 😉

  What could be improved: Beware, if you are booking for 2 people, you are not getting what you see in photos. You get a small room with a bathroom, the tiniest kitchen that does not work very well and no privacy, because the window is directly where the other apartment has its terrace and the curtain is transparent. We asked for a queen bed, and got two single beds and were told that if we wanted a bigger bed, to put the beds together ourselves. Wifi does not work whatsoever. It was disappointing.

  The accommodation is easy to find, and it’s close to the beach. The place is quiet, and the host is really caring, helpful, and nice. They have a lovely dog who greets you upon arrival! The room is cozy and it was really clean. There’s hot water and enough towels and covers.
  
  What could be improved: I would’ve loved to have a terrace view of that amazing garden.
