You know what? Apartments Angela is one of those places that surprises you in the best way possible. I mean, when I first heard the name, I was honestly expecting something pretty basic – maybe a bit tired around the edges. But walking up to the building, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. The entrance has that lived-in charm that you get when a property’s been thoughtfully maintained over the years, not just slapped with fresh paint every season.

The apartments themselves are where Angela (and yeah, there really is an Angela who seems to know everyone’s name by day two) has really nailed it. These aren’t your cookie-cutter hotel rooms – each unit feels like someone’s actual apartment that they’ve just happened to lend you for a week. The kitchens are properly equipped, which sounds boring until you realize you can actually make real coffee in the morning instead of that packet stuff. I spent most evenings on my little balcony with a glass of wine, watching the neighborhood come alive below. The Wi-Fi’s solid too, which matters more than it should when you’re trying to upload photos or catch up on work.

What really won me over, though, was how Angela runs the place. Check-in feels more like visiting a friend’s aunt than dealing with hotel bureaucracy – she’ll tell you which bakery opens earliest (trust me, you want the one two streets down, not the touristy one), where to park without getting a ticket, and somehow remembers that you mentioned wanting to find good hiking spots. The building stays pretty quiet even during busy periods, probably because it attracts people who appreciate the whole low-key vibe rather than party crowds. I’ll be honest, the shower pressure isn’t going to blow your mind, and if you’re the type who needs your towels changed daily, this might not be your speed. But if you want to feel like you’re actually living somewhere instead of just passing through, Angela’s got something special going on here. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

  Very friendly staff, the owner was so sweet, and the location was very very clean! They were very accommodating to our needs. Great location close to all kinds of stores, food and the beach.

  The apartments are a a little further away from the beach and all the crowd. Nearby there are few grocery shops, as well as bakeries, places to eat.
  The owner was waiting for our arrival and everything was smooth.
  
  What could be improved: The owner was not speaking english, so we improvised and used some gesture language 😀 And it worked 😉

  What could be improved: We took apartments with 2 rooms. There was an air conditioner only in one of them. The Air conditioner didn't cool the room, so it was very hot all the time. I had to open all doors and windows so that I was able to breathe.
  We stayed at the beginning of June.
  I had found only two other feedbacks on Booking about air conditioner, so it didn't stop me from booking.

  Very cute small room but yet has everything that might be needed for the comfortable stay. We liked it a lot. AC is working perfectly, very nice when it’s hot to have the room cooled down quickly. The host was very nice and friendly.

  The accommodation is easy to find, and it’s close to the beach. The place is quiet, and the host is really caring, helpful, and nice. They have a lovely dog who greets you upon arrival! The room is cozy and it was really clean. There’s hot water and enough towels and covers.
  
  What could be improved: I would’ve loved to have a terrace view of that amazing garden.

  What could be improved: Beware, if you are booking for 2 people, you are not getting what you see in photos. You get a small room with a bathroom, the tiniest kitchen that does not work very well and no privacy, because the window is directly where the other apartment has its terrace and the curtain is transparent. We asked for a queen bed, and got two single beds and were told that if we wanted a bigger bed, to put the beds together ourselves. Wifi does not work whatsoever. It was disappointing.
