It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street that most tourists completely miss, which means you get that authentic Budva experience without the chaos that comes with staying right in the old town madness.

The apartments themselves are pretty solid for what you’re paying – I mean, we’re talking proper three-star comfort here, not some fancy resort, but everything works and it’s genuinely clean. What really got me was how the owner (lovely woman, speaks decent English) actually cares about the details. Fresh towels that don’t smell like bleach, a little welcome basket with local coffee, and – this might sound silly – but the shower pressure is actually decent, which you can’t always count on in Montenegro. The kitchenette setup is perfect if you want to grab some of those amazing tomatoes and cheese from the morning market near Slovenska Plaža and make your own breakfast. Plus, parking is included, which honestly saves you a headache and probably 10 euros a day if you’re driving around Budva in summer.

Location-wise, you’re about a seven-minute walk to the beach – not the crazy crowded main stretch, but the quieter end where locals actually go. There’s this little bakery called Pekara Mila just two blocks down that does these incredible burek pastries for breakfast (get there before 9 AM or they’re gone). The old town is maybe a 12-minute stroll, which means you can stumble back from dinner without paying for a taxi, but you’re far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 3 AM. I stayed here in late June, and honestly, the street stays pretty quiet even during peak season – mostly just the occasional car and some kids playing football in the evening. The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me because it’s exactly what it promises to be: clean, comfortable, well-located apartments without any pretense. Sure, the furniture isn’t Instagram-worthy and the TV only gets Montenegrin channels, but when you’re spending your days exploring Kotor Bay or lounging on Mogren Beach, who really cares? It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-kept neighborhood rather than some sterile tourist zone, and that’s worth a lot more than fancy lobby marble if you ask me.
