The walk to Mogren Beach takes maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not in a rush, and honestly, those few extra steps weed out some of the crowds anyway. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during July and August – the street fills up pretty quick – but there’s usually spots available if you’re willing to walk a block or two. The building itself has this slightly worn-in feeling that somehow works; it’s not Instagram-perfect, but it feels real, lived-in, like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile chain property. The balconies face different directions, so ask about sunset views if that matters to you. And here’s a random tip nobody tells you: the grocery store down the hill stays open later than most, which is clutch when you realize you need water and snacks for a beach day. For what you pay and where you are, it’s honestly hard to complain about much here.
