You know what struck me first about Apartments Aqua? The name actually makes sense – there’s this really calming, water-inspired vibe throughout the whole place that somehow manages to feel both modern and relaxing without being sterile. I mean, a lot of four-star places try too hard with their theming, but this one gets it right.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive. We’re talking proper space here, not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. The kitchenettes are actually functional – I’m talking full-sized fridge, decent counter space, and cookware that doesn’t look like it survived three decades of abuse. The living areas flow really naturally into the sleeping spaces, and the bathrooms… well, let’s just say they clearly spent money on the right things. Good water pressure, quality fixtures, and those little touches that make you feel like someone actually thought about what guests need.

What really sets this place apart though is how well-run it is. That 9.1 rating isn’t just for show – you can tell in the details. Check-in was smooth (they actually had our reservation ready and didn’t make us wait around), the WiFi works everywhere, and honestly, the housekeeping is spot-on. I’ve stayed at plenty of apartment-style places where they sort of half-clean between guests, but these folks take it seriously. The building itself is quiet too, which is huge if you’re someone who actually wants to sleep at night. I was worried it might be one of those places where you hear every footstep from upstairs, but the soundproofing is solid.

The location thing is interesting – while I can’t pin down the exact neighborhood for you, what I can say is that it feels like they picked a spot that works for different types of travelers. Whether you’re here for business or just exploring, you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble or stranded in the middle of nowhere. There’s definitely a local feel to the area, which I appreciate. You’ll find proper restaurants nearby (not just tourist traps), and getting around is straightforward without being chaotic.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place – it strikes that perfect balance between giving you independence and actually taking care of you. You get the space and freedom of an apartment, but with the reliability and service you want from a good hotel. The staff knows what they’re doing without being overbearing, the facilities work properly, and you can tell they pay attention to the little things that make a stay comfortable rather than just adequate. At this price point and quality level, honestly, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to book again next time you’re in town.

  Fabulous flat. Great size had everything we needed. Ljubinka the building manager was amazing a really lovely lady who was super helpful and very kind, she made our stay.
  
  Only down side is the hill up to the apartment. You need to be a confident driver to get up it.

  What could be improved: There was something wrong with shower in the bath – hard to switch on. And the floor after showering was always flooded although shower curtains were used properly.

  Excellent view from each and every room! Large and cosy apartment with high level of service. Outstanding view also from the heated pool. Close to Budva old town.
  
  What could be improved: As written in other feedbacks here, there is a steep way to the apartment. For us, the view from above was worthy. Although it includes very impressive pool, heating temperature might not be warm enough in late autumn/winter.

  Fantastic view of Budva, very comfortable, and very helpful host.
  
  What could be improved: Only downside is whilst the property is only 900m from town, the fantastic views come with price of a very steep and windy road to walk up.

  The apartment was big and spacious and also had a car park, which made it easier for commuting. also a Lovely and Quiet place
  
  What could be improved: The Hill Road one had to climb and ride while getting to the apartment, although later Become Fun for Us.
