Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Apartments AS on Mimoza Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those assumptions bite you in the ass, because this little spot totally surprised me. It’s tucked away just enough from Budva’s main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night, but close enough that you’re not hiking for twenty minutes just to grab dinner or hit the beach.
The thing about this place is that it feels like someone’s actually paying attention to the details. I mean, sure, it’s not going to blow you away with marble lobbies or whatever, but the apartments are clean, the AC works (crucial in Montenegro’s summer heat, trust me), and – this might sound weird – but everything just works the way it should. The shower has decent pressure, the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and there’s actual space to unpack your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The owner, or maybe it’s the manager, I’m not sure, but they clearly give a damn about keeping things running smoothly. Check-in was quick, none of that standing-around-for-thirty-minutes nonsense you get at some places.
What really sold me on the location is that you’re maybe a ten-minute walk from Slovenska Plaza – not the most glamorous beach in Budva, but honestly? It’s way less crowded than the Old Town beaches, and you can actually find a spot to put your towel down without elbowing tourists. Plus, there’s this little bakery about three blocks away that does these incredible burek pastries in the morning (go early, they sell out). The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet – mostly locals and long-term visitors rather than the party crowd that descends on the Old Town. You’ll hear some traffic during the day since you’re still in town, but it dies down at night, which was perfect for me since I’m one of those people who wakes up if someone drops a pin two streets over. And here’s something I didn’t expect – parking is actually manageable around here. Not easy, exactly, but doable, which in Budva during peak season is basically a miracle.
To book a hotel in Budva during peak Mediterranean season, travelers need early planning as this coastal gem draws visitors eager to experience its pristine beaches and historic old town.

All recommendations! I am coming back here again, very nice experience, new apartments, very clean and tidy.
All recommendations! Very comfortable and clean apartment, I traveled with my colleague and I arrived late, Ivana is a very kind host who welcomed me with a smile even though I was late. I will definitely come back here again, all recommendations!
I stayed here nearly a month. Strong recommend. Comfortable. Convenient. Affordable. First class! Awesome location. Easily walkable into town and the beach. Great cooking facilities and a comfy bed. A table and chairs to eat dinner or spend time working. Washing machine available was really helpful and the the host was always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Fantastic!
What could be improved: Wifi was good most of the time, but sometimes struggled if there were a lot of people staying.
Exceptional Great room, there is everything you need! The best host, kind and sociable!
Great cozy place in the center of Budva Very nice cozy place, great location in the center of Budva, 2 min walk from bus station, 7 min from Old Town. Very friendly staff. Everything clean.
What could be improved: If you are sensitive to sound keep in mind that life will start to happen from 7am or earlier. For me it was also ok.
Wonderful Super.
it was great Thank you very much to Ivana for her interest. We were comfortable and free, we came for a walk, we only used it for sleeping purposes. We didn't have too high expectations, so it was enough.
What could be improved: Do you need anything? We have never encountered this question.
Exceptional Good price, good location, helpfull owner
I'm happy with this place. Nice view from the terrace, especially in the evening Spacious room. There is everything you need according to the advertisement. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Always ready to help. Close to the sea and shops.
What could be improved: Surprisingly, there were a lot of red little ants in the room. They met in the kitchen and on the second empty bed - there were a lot of them there! But they didn't bother us)))
Exceptional The apartment is located 5-7 minutes from the bus station. That is a quiet not noisy place. The promenade with the beach is within 15 minutes walking distance. Easily reach shops, bakeries, and restaurants within some minutes. Good choice for a reasonable price.
