You know what struck me first about Apartments Bella Rosa?
You know what struck me first about Apartments Bella Rosa? It’s tucked away on Proleterskih brigada street in a way that feels residential but not remote – I mean, you’re still walking distance from Budva’s old town, but you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of tourists stumbling back from bars at 2 AM. That 9.5 rating honestly makes sense once you settle in.
The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. I stayed there during shoulder season in May, and honestly, it felt more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying at a typical hotel. The owner clearly gets that travelers want space to spread out – there’s actual counter space in the kitchen (not just a hot plate shoved in a corner), and the balconies are big enough to actually sit on with your morning coffee. Speaking of which, if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll love watching the neighborhood wake up while locals head to work. It’s got that authentic Montenegro vibe without feeling like you’re missing out on convenience.
What really sells this place is the little stuff nobody mentions in official descriptions. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the apartment – I was taking calls from the balcony without issues. Parking isn’t the nightmare you’d expect in Budva either; there’s street parking that locals know about, and the host gives you the real scoop on where to park without getting ticketed. The walk to Slovenska plaža takes maybe 8-10 minutes if you’re not rushing, and you’ll pass this little bakery that does incredible burek (the cheese one, trust me).
Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or daily housekeeping, but honestly? The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works when you need it, and there’s enough hot water for proper showers after beach days. I actually appreciated having a washing machine – after a week of swimming and hiking around Lovćen, being able to do laundry instead of packing dirty clothes was clutch. The neighborhood gets quiet after dinner time, which is perfect if you’re planning to explore Budva’s nightlife but still want to sleep when you get back. Sometimes the simplest things matter most when you’re traveling.
To book a hotel in Budva during peak Mediterranean season, travelers need early planning as this coastal gem draws visitors eager to experience its pristine beaches and historic old town.

Great experience overall Very clean, open spaces and modern. Supportive host. Suitable location to walk to the beach (a bit steep at the begining but shouldn't pose any trouble). Superb overall.
What could be improved: Not really a complaint - Maybe you'll get a bit scared when having to park for the first time. But it actually isn't hard at all once you get to know the drive-way.
Exceptional I have stayed in many apart type accommodation in a row. But this place is cleaned and organized with extreme care, it is very obvious. Little details are not forgotten. Very clean, large spacious rooms. The hosts are very helpful, answered all my questions in detail. When I phoned the landlord, his mother immediately came down and helped me, helped me to park.
Wonderful They had welcoming stuff, air conditioners, tea, coffee.
What could be improved: It was hard to find it.
Exceptional Super great

Exceptional Have everything you need inside. Great comunication with owner. Close to shops, restaurants, about 10 minutes walk to the beach.
No doubt will back next time.
Wonderful It is at the top of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. The owners of the facility were very polite. They treated us well. We would like to thank them again from here. You can go with your eyes closed.
Exceptional Really clear and useful place for tourists. Place has everything you will need or want. Even fresh fruits.
Nice stay Very nice apartement and host. She was responsive and helpful. I had a request and the host solved it without any problems. We also got complimentary tangerines and bottled water.
What could be improved: Everything was fine
Amazing, highly recommended. If I’m back in Budva I’ll know where I stay Very clean, modern, refreshed, well equipped place. Amazing location, view from balcony was delightful! Same can tell about owner - we had coffee and other beverages left and have been wished all the best, amazing approach to guest! Bravo
What could be improved: There was no such thing
All in all, it was a really good apartment for the price. Solid view from balcony, big roomy apartment, parking garage, apartment was nice and clean.
What could be improved: Road leading to the apartment was really steep but manageable, AC was not cooling so it was hard to sleep at night.
