You know what struck me first about Apartments Boreta II? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy but just gets everything right. I mean, sure, it’s technically a 3-star place, but honestly – the 8.3 rating tells the real story here. This is the kind of spot where you actually feel like you’re living somewhere, not just passing through.

The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake. The kitchenettes are properly equipped (not just for show), and I actually found myself cooking breakfast most mornings instead of hunting for cafes. The beds are surprisingly good – none of that rock-hard hotel mattress nonsense you sometimes get at this price point. What I really appreciated was the space; you can spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your suitcase. The Wi-Fi works reliably too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but somehow still is at a lot of places. There’s this quiet efficiency to everything – the hot water comes fast, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter, and the neighbors aren’t stomping around at all hours.

The location is where this place really shines, though you’d have to know the area to appreciate it. You’re close enough to walk to the main action but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds every time you step outside. I could grab groceries easily, found a decent local bakery within a few blocks, and there’s reliable public transport nearby when you need it. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no complicated key card systems, just practical information and genuine helpfulness. The staff clearly knows their neighborhood and can point you toward the spots locals actually go to, not just the obvious tourist traps. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even packed to leave. Perfect for longer stays when you want to feel settled rather than rushed.

  The location was great, just 5 min walk to the beach, 1 min to a supermarket. Beautiful terrace, a small room with a kitchenette where you find everything you need for a short stay. There was a problem with the sewerage, but it was fixed the same day. Hosts are very friendly and tell you in advance when they are going to change towels/bed sheets
  
  What could be improved: I would add some shower gel to the bathroom, there was only hand soap

  Spacious and clean apartment with a kitchenette. We felt like at home. Big bonus is a terrace. Perfect location with plenty of shops closeby. Staff is nice and helpful, 10/10 for them.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was great. I was a little worried when I saw two bad reviews, but I checked – the tourist tax is something that is not included in the price and that every legal guest is obliged to pay (1 euro per night).

  The apartment is in a lovely building surrounded with lush plants and a big terrace. Our room was well equipped, super clean, everything was working fine and was an absolute bargain for the price. The family is so lovely and really makes an effort to make you feel at your best. We had the best holiday ever!

  What could be improved: No aircondioner in one of the rooms – impossible to sleep .
  Owner was kind to provide a vent which helped a bit .
  Bathroom stinks, no proper air ventilation.

  Lady who cleans the place is really polite and nice and the place has a good terrace in front of it.
  
  What could be improved: All taxes included is obviously not all taxes included cause they have asked for extra money. Really small rooms, no natural light. Almost no communication with owners, and if you travel at night there is no place to leave your things after you check out and no one to ask about that. In general not a great value for the money, we have seen a lot better in every category.

  Kuca je lijepa, blizu plaze, odlicna lokacija, u blizini se nalaze marketi, pekare i odlicna mjesta za jelo.
  
  What could be improved: Mana ovog smjestaja je sto gostima koji nisu dosli autom i vracaju se nocnim busem nisu omogucili prostor da se barem presvuku jer uglavnom ljudi koji putuju nocu, provedu dan na plazi i potrebno je da se omoguci mjesto da se ostave stvari i da se presvuku. U mom slucaju, jedva smo uspjeli ostaviti kofere, iako su ih nerado smjestili, a kada smo u povratku s plaze zamolile da se samo presvucemo pred visesatnu nocnu voznju, zateceni smo bili reakcijom, tako da smo se mama i ja doslovno presvukle u dvoristu kuce. Gazde nismo ni vidjele nego je njihova spremacica bila posrednik izmedju nas. Neugodno i neocekivano jer smo u svakom smjestaju do sad imali cak mogucnost i da se istusiramo, a sve ostalo se podrazumijevalo sto se tice stvari i presvlacenja.
