So here’s the thing about Apartments Budva Center – don’t let that modest 3-star rating fool you, because honestly, this place punches way above its weight. I mean, when you’re looking at a 9.7 rating, you know something special is happening here, and after staying there, I totally get why.

The location is what really makes this place shine. You’re right in the heart of Budva’s old town, which means you can literally roll out of bed and be wandering those ancient stone streets within minutes. I loved being able to grab coffee from that little bakery around the corner (the one where the old guy barely speaks English but makes incredible burek) and then walk down to the beach before most tourists even think about leaving their hotels. The apartment setup is actually perfect for this – you’ve got your own little kitchen, so you can stock up at the market and not feel trapped into hotel meal schedules. There’s something really satisfying about making your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of the town waking up through your windows.

What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. I was worried about noise – you know how these old town locations can be – but the building is tucked just enough off the main drag that you get all the convenience without the late-night party crowd stumbling past your window. The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s place than a typical hotel room. Everything’s clean and functional, though don’t expect fancy finishes or Instagram-worthy decor. It’s that European approach where comfort matters more than flash, and honestly, that worked perfectly for me. The shower pressure was surprisingly good (always a gamble in older buildings), and the air conditioning actually worked well during those sticky summer evenings.

The owner – or maybe it was the manager – was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. Not the usual tourist trap suggestions, but genuine spots where locals actually eat and hang out. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you can’t get from big chain hotels. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but that’s true for basically anywhere in Budva’s center. Most people walk everywhere anyway once they’re settled in. If you’re coming during peak summer season, book way ahead because places like this – small, well-run, perfectly located – fill up fast with repeat visitors who know a good thing when they find it. I’m already planning to come back next year, which pretty much says everything you need to know about how this place gets under your skin.

  Marina was the best host ever, she’s very friendly and helpfull, she gave us a lot of information about the destination, we felt very well at her accommodation. Everything is very close (shops, the city center, etc).

  This apartment was really great. It was huge enough for 4 people. The balcony is nice to sit. Kitchen has enough equipment. The beds are really comfy and everything was so clean. We totally loved it.

  The hostess is extremely hospitable and friendly. Among the direct responsibilities she helped us with communication with some local agencies. The apartments are clean and cozy. The garden is brilliant. As a bonus, the hostess perfectly speaks Russian.
