You know what caught me off guard about Apartments Dali? The name had me expecting some quirky, artistic vibe – maybe melting clocks in the lobby or something – but it’s actually this refreshingly straightforward place that just happens to do everything really well. I mean, with a 9.5 rating, I was curious if it could live up to the hype, and honestly, it kind of does.

The thing is, these aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms. The apartments actually feel like, well, apartments – which sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many places calling themselves “apartments” are basically glorified hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. Here, you’ve got proper kitchens where you can actually cook (the stovetops work properly, imagine that), and the living areas don’t feel like an afterthought. I spent a good chunk of one evening just sprawled on the couch, and it felt natural rather than forced. The whole setup works especially well if you’re staying more than a couple nights – you can grab groceries, make coffee the way you like it, and not feel like you’re living out of a suitcase.

What really sold me, though, were the little details that show someone’s actually paying attention. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every twenty minutes, the water pressure in the shower is what you’d hope for (not what you usually get), and – this might sound weird – but the pillows are actually comfortable. Not too flat, not overstuffed. The kind where you don’t wake up with a crick in your neck wondering why hotel pillows are universally terrible. The check-in was smooth too, none of that awkward hovering around the desk while they figure out their system. And parking – well, let’s just say it’s not the nightmare it could be, which anyone who’s driven around looking for a spot at 10 PM will appreciate. The 3-star rating might make you think “budget accommodation,” but the experience feels more polished than that suggests. It’s like they focused on getting the fundamentals right instead of spending money on flashy lobby art or whatever. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

  The room was very clean. The owner was helpful, we were able to check in despite arriving early and she helped us call a taxi. The location of the house is within walking distance of the bus station and 10 minutes by car to the old town. There was a small area in front of the room so we could sit outside.
  
  What could be improved: There was a sound beeping in the room at regular intervals, I think it was the security system, but since we only stayed one night, it was not a problem.

  Amazing rooms, clean and comfortable. Fast Wi-Fi. Location very accessible from bus station and has nearby markets and pekaras. Walking distance to the beach. Juli is a great host who gave us good guidance and accommodated our requests very kindly. Can also pay with credit card if you wish.

  Spotlessly clean apartment with great facilities (iron, kitchen with all cooking utensils, comfortable bed). The location was good, next to shops and a short walk to old town. We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back!

  The hot water in the shower ran out quite fast.
