You know what caught me off guard about Apartments DS Club? The fact that a 3-star place tucked away on Mainski Put manages to feel more welcoming than some of the fancy resorts closer to Budva’s old town. I mean, when you see that 9.5 rating, you start wondering what the catch is – but honestly, after staying there twice now, I get it.

The location is actually pretty clever if you think about it. You’re far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night (trust me, this matters in Budva), but it’s still an easy walk down to the beaches when you want that Mediterranean vibe. The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that feels authentic rather than sterile – wooden floors that creak just a little, balconies where you can hear the morning birds before the day gets too hot, and kitchenettes that are actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the local market instead of eating out every meal. The owners clearly know their stuff too; check-in was surprisingly smooth, and they had these little touches like local coffee in the kitchen and maps with hand-drawn notes about which beaches get crowded when.

What really sells me on this place is how it sits in the neighborhood. Mainski Put isn’t where the tour buses dump everyone – it’s where you’ll see locals heading to work in the morning and kids playing football in the small squares. There’s this family-run bakery about a five-minute walk away that does these incredible burek pastries (the cheese ones, definitely get the cheese ones), and the pathway down toward the coast gives you these glimpses of the Adriatic through the olive trees that honestly beat any postcard. Sure, the building itself isn’t going to win architecture awards, and the WiFi can be a bit temperamental during peak hours, but there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that prioritizes comfort over Instagram moments. The apartment I had faced inland rather than toward the water, which I thought I’d regret, but those mountain views at sunset? Actually pretty spectacular, and way quieter than the sea-facing rooms at other places I’ve tried.

  The hosts are very friendly and positive, and they make sure guests feel at home.
  The room was big, clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and everything needed for cooking was provided. Wi-Fi was strong. The property is quite spacious, with a yard, chill-out zones, and large bookshelves. There’s also a washing machine, sun umbrellas, and mats available for guests.
  We had a free parking space near the apartment, which is a big plus — especially in Budva during the summer, where parking can be a serious issue. This location is also far from the traffic jams on the main road.
  Grocery stores and a shopping mall are within a 3–15-minute walk.
  I don’t like staying in noisy city centers with thousands of tourists, so this place was exactly what I needed.

  I was pleased to find that the apartment looked just like the pictures and met my expectations.
  In general, everything was great.
  
  What could be improved: I was hoping for an apartment that was closer to the city center, but unfortunately, it wasn't. As a result, we had to walk a lot more since we didn't have a car.

  Очень понравились хозяева, там часто был управляющий Дмитрий и его мама Любовь, которые располагают теплотой. Очень удобно что они русскоговорящие, всё могли рассказать и подсказать. Очень хороший дом, всё нужное есть, теннис, тренажёрный зал, книги, настольные игры, гриль терраса, игрушки для детей, качели. Удобная парковка, которая не находилась на большом склоне, так как в Черногории очень много крутых склонов.
  Дети были особенно в восторге от этого места.
  
  What could be improved: Не очень удобно что стиральная машина на несколько человек, хотя нам это не сильно помешало.

  Uzun yoldan araba ile geldiğimiz için erken saatte Budva'da olmuştuk erken giriş yapma isteğimizi kırmadılar çok iyi niyetli insanlar.Şu turist vergisini bile bir akşam ,10 dakikada halledip evrakı getirdiler.Kılima ve sıcak su sorunsuzdu.Her şey için teşekkürler.
