Hotel Description

You know what surprised me about Apartments Horizont? I walked in expecting just another decent four-star place, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about how they’ve set things up here. The lobby has this lived-in feel – not stuffy or trying too hard, just comfortable in a way that makes you think the staff actually cares about whether you have a good stay.

The apartments themselves are honestly better than I expected from the photos online. I mean, hotel photos always lie a little, right? But these were actually roomier, and whoever designed them gets that people need real space when they’re traveling. The kitchenette isn’t just for show – you can actually cook a proper meal if you want to skip restaurants for a night. The balcony in my unit caught the morning light perfectly, and I found myself having coffee out there every day, just watching the neighborhood wake up. Speaking of the neighborhood, it’s one of those areas where you’ll see locals going about their daily business, which I love – gives you a real sense of the place rather than being stuck in some tourist bubble.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone’s paying attention. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (shocking, I know), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and housekeeping manages to refresh everything without making you feel like strangers have been rifling through your stuff. The staff at reception – there’s this one guy who works mornings who seems to know every decent restaurant within walking distance, and I don’t mean the obvious tourist traps. He steered me toward this incredible little bakery around the corner that I never would have found otherwise. Honestly, that 8.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here a few days. It’s not perfect – the elevator’s a bit slow, and if you’re on the street side you might catch some early morning traffic noise – but it’s the kind of place where the good stuff far outweighs any minor annoyances. I’d definitely book here again, which is saying something since I usually like trying new places.

To book hotel in Budva during the famous summer festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts beach enthusiasts and nightlife lovers from around the world.

  The apartment was clean, I was satisfied with everything that was included in the room. The pool was nice and clean.
  Since you need to go by car everywhere, it was great that we had also a garage. The host was very friendly and helpful!

  The apartment is very spacious, views from terrace and pool are excellent. Facility has free parking, elevator, roof top patio and pool.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately cable provider had issues, our building was impacted, luckily internet functioned on rooftop.

  The garden is beautiful full with fruits and flowers. The pool nice and clean, and the view from the terrace is phenomenal.

  The house is superb, the apartment is spacious, sunny, newish.
  The common pool is clean and cold. Perfect to cool one down after returning from a trip (to Kotor e.g.).
  The terrace doors and windows are good and they are fitted with insect nets which is important because there are a lot of tiny but stingy mosquitoes.
  Air condition in all rooms.
  WiFi perfect for all family members to watch videos simultaneously.
  Closed parking in the basement.
  If you care for nice gardens, than this place is for you. It's a little like an oasis.
  For this price range I think we found the best place for us!
  
  What could be improved: One of the terraces had a very bad panorama on the hillside and neighbour, the other was nothing special but good to sit in the evening. Don't choose this place if sea-view is a must. But you can enjoy a good sea-view from the common terrace. (There are 7 appartments and no clue on the view from the others)
  The bed has very fine mattresses but it is too soft for us.
  There is not much to be found in the kitchen if you compare it with other European appartments. If one wished to cook, it might be difficult. We only missed a micro, a pot or a jug to make tea.

  So the apartment was extremely clean and well appointed, and after giving off to a slightly rocky start, the manager was exceptionally helpful with everything that we needed!!! Milisia is her name and she was unbelievable. She arranged taxicabs for us in the morning and afternoon every day so she is definitely worth her weight in gold. Everything we needed. She always responded within five minutes.
  
  What could be improved: What I didn't like about our stay is the manager of the restaurant that is associated with the apartment is a rude and cocky jerk, who lied to us and told us he was the owner!! the first couple days we were there we bought lunch and dinner and cocktails and everything there. He never once came up to us and introduced himself said thank you or asked if there was anything he could do for us. One day the beach was half empty, and we grabbed a third beach chair and he told us we couldn't have it. I offered to pay for it and he said no that I had to pay for two chairs and literally the beach was half empty for the entire day. I never spent one more dollar at the restaurant, so it probably cost the owner at least €600 in lost sales at the restaurant!!! my recommendation would be to fire the manager of the restaurant. I don't know what his name is, but he had a gray beard and gray hair, but all the other staff was very good. One thing I will say for sure the advertisement on booking is wrong it's not 1000 feet from the beach. It's about a mile and a half drive. So you either have to take a cab or rent a car because it's straight down the side of a mountain.!!!

  Good and comfortable rooms. Swimming pool. Nice view from terrace. Quiet place.
  
  What could be improved: Small bathroom. "Jazz Beach" is not close by walk and walkway is extremely not easy.
