What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone’s paying attention. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (shocking, I know), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and housekeeping manages to refresh everything without making you feel like strangers have been rifling through your stuff. The staff at reception – there’s this one guy who works mornings who seems to know every decent restaurant within walking distance, and I don’t mean the obvious tourist traps. He steered me toward this incredible little bakery around the corner that I never would have found otherwise. Honestly, that 8.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here a few days. It’s not perfect – the elevator’s a bit slow, and if you’re on the street side you might catch some early morning traffic noise – but it’s the kind of place where the good stuff far outweighs any minor annoyances. I’d definitely book here again, which is saying something since I usually like trying new places.
