Hotel Description
You know what? I almost walked past Apartments Ivanović the first time I visited – it’s tucked away on Ive Lole Ribara, which honestly sounds way more intimidating than it actually is. This little street is maybe a five-minute walk from Budva’s old town, close enough that you can hear the church bells in the morning but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 3 AM. The building itself has that clean, modern Montenegrin apartment style – nothing fancy, but everything just works.
What really got me was how the Ivanović family (yeah, it’s actually family-run) manages to make a 3-star place feel way more personal than those big resort hotels down by Slovenska Beach. The apartments are surprisingly spacious – I mean, you can actually spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the floor. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, not just some sad mini-fridge and broken coffee maker situation. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s a little market just around the corner where locals shop, and honestly, the produce there is incredible. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which… let’s just say that’s not always guaranteed in this part of the world.
The location thing is sort of perfect if you think about it – you’re close enough to walk to Mogren Beach (maybe 10 minutes if you don’t mind a slight uphill on the way back), but you’re also positioned where you can easily catch those buses to Sveti Stefan or Petrovac if you want to explore. Parking can be a bit tricky in summer – the street gets crowded – but there’s usually something within a block or two. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. During the day you’ll hear normal neighborhood sounds, maybe someone’s radio or kids playing, but it’s that good kind of background noise that makes you feel like you’re actually somewhere, not just staying in some tourist bubble. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you consider you’re getting genuine hospitality and a proper local experience for way less than you’d pay for those sterile places closer to the marina. It’s the kind of spot where you end up chatting with other guests over morning coffee, and Mrs. Ivanović will probably give you better restaurant recommendations than any guidebook.

Pleasant – Bobana from Montenegro – July 31, 2025 (10/10)
It was very clean, hosts are really pleasant and understanding. Apartment was very clean.
The thing that I really liked was that there were towels and a hair dryer. In general, it's not something I expect from an apartment, but I would expect it more from a hotel.Exceptional – Deveci from Turkey – July 9, 2025 (10/10)
The host is helpful and friendly. The flat is clean and new.Our view from the flat was great. We would love to visit again.

Clean, good location, nice views and very welcoming people. Highly recommended
Very good – Mariusz from Germany – June 11, 2025 (9/10)
The owner and cleaning lady were nice and attentive. When we asked for something we immediaetly got it. We were allowed to put our motorcycle in the garage for only 5€ a day. Although it was difficult to drive up the Hill to the apartaments The area overall was great, near the beach and great restaurants aren't far away. The walk to the old town is a bit long but very beautiful.
What could be improved: We were happy with everything. We didn't get a room with a good view but we understand.Exceptional – Bogdan from Romania – June 5, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is excellent, very clean, modern and spacious. All facilities are there.
The view is spectacular and if you smoke there is a nice balcony with chairs and a coffee table.
Wifi ultra fast.
We are sorry we could not stay longer, but this was how our trip was structured with another place each dayGreat stay, would definitely come back! – Maya from Serbia – May 26, 2025 (10/10)
We came by bus, and the hosts – Ivana and Veselin – let us know how to properly get to their location (the bus stop from Budva or Bar is a less than a 10 minute walk). We also came earlier than the check-in time is but Ivana didn't make us wait long – made us coffee, offered to take our bags while the room is being prepared.
The room was great – spacious and clean, great balcony, bathroom was clean as well. We were provided cooking utensils, fridge, and a stove which we used, all works very well. There was a big bed and a full couch which allows for another person to stay there comfortably.
Our room was on the fourth top floor, which can be a workout for some, we didn't have any problems though. On our last day there was a storm but the room was still warm, even though it was cold outside, which is great.
There is a supermarket not far away, the beach and a spa across the street:)
On Google Maps it looks like a long walk for a beach but in reality there's a new bridge that takes you straight to the beach in minutes, which is also a great upside for this location!Exceptional – Aleksandra from Poland – May 26, 2025 (10/10)
The owner was very helpful and nice. The apartment was clean, we got clean towels every day, which was a nice surprise. Beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment was cozy, there are bus stops, shops, restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. The district was quiet.
It was awesome! – Nana from Germany – May 18, 2025 (10/10)
The room was heat! Staff was welcoming and helpful with a taxi to the city centre.
