Hotel Description
You know what? I almost walked right past Apartments Jelušić the first time I was looking for it – not because it’s hard to find, but because it doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation” like some places do. It’s got this understated, residential feel that honestly made me second-guess my booking for about thirty seconds. But that turned out to be exactly what made my stay so comfortable.
The thing about these apartments is they feel like actual homes, not hotel rooms that someone tried to make homey with generic art and fake plants. I mean, the kitchen in my unit had real coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones), and there was enough counter space to actually spread out groceries if you wanted to cook. The owner, who I’m guessing is from the Jelušić family, was around during check-in and had this easy way of explaining things – where the good bakery is, which bus route actually runs on time, that sort of local intel you can’t get from a guidebook. Three stars might sound modest, but honestly, the place punches above its weight in terms of cleanliness and functionality.
What really won me over was the neighborhood vibe. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble here – there are actual residents coming and going, kids playing in the courtyard sometimes, the smell of real cooking drifting through the hallways. It’s quieter than I expected too, especially at night. I was worried about street noise, but the windows are decent and the building itself just has good bones, you know? The wifi worked reliably (always a gamble with apartment rentals), and parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d braced myself for. Sure, the decor isn’t going to win any design awards – we’re talking functional furniture and neutral walls – but everything works properly and feels maintained. The shower had actual water pressure, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed. If you’re the type who needs daily housekeeping and room service, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a comfortable base that feels authentic and gives you space to breathe, Apartments Jelušić delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense.

Location, facilities and personal was ok. The cosy apartment is modern.
What could be improved: The sistem of the shower spred the water everywhere.Robbie from United Kingdom – 14 September 2024 (8/10)
Best view from an apartment I’ve ever seen. Really clean and good facilities. Owners are also very responsive and helpful when you need something. Steep but very short walk to the old town, beaches, restaurants and shops, supermarket is very close by.
What could be improved: The “private entrance” is literally just a main door that stays unlocked 24/7. Anyone can walk in. We had a few instances where we would hear our room handle being tried late at night or really early in the morning and it wasn’t the cleaners, this is the only reason these apartments are not a 10. Need to heavily consider giving guests a key to the main door and keeping it locked.Uysun from Turkey – 21 July 2024 (9/10)
First of all, the view is stunning. Waking up to this view is really enjoyable. The room is small but clean. The host is kind and answer our all questions instantly. It is nearly 10-15 minutes to old town and city centre.
What could be improved: You should know to go to the city center you need to use a lot of stairs. Your legs may not like it 🙂 And also there isn’t any water, tea or coffee in the room.Siddhi from United Kingdom – 11 July 2024 (9/10)
The room had a great view of the sea and it is a 15 walk to the beach and old town. The stay was comfortable

Nice sea view from the balcony. Comfortable apartment size (with a big kitchen-living room). Good location, the center is only a few minutes walk away.
What could be improved: No coffee machine and the water boiler was full of limescale. The bathroom is really small. The toilet and the shower is right next to each other, which wouldn't be a problem if there would be shower tray. This way, after shower the floor was full wet in the bathroom. At least a mop would be useful. There was also mold on the bathroom walls.
The host doesn't speak English well. Also, I arrived at night and it was a bit difficult to find the entrance of the apartment in the dark, so a more visible sign would be great.
The apartment is in the main road, so it was a bit noisy there.Hałasek from Poland – 7 May 2024 (8/10)
