You know what caught me off guard about Apartments Kordic? The fact that a 3-star place can actually feel more comfortable than some of those flashy hotels that cost twice as much. I mean, when I first pulled up, I wasn’t expecting much – the building looks pretty standard from the outside, nothing fancy. But honestly, once you get inside, there’s this immediately relaxed vibe that just works.

The apartments themselves are what really sold me on this place. Each unit has this lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. The kitchens are actually functional too – and I say that as someone who’s dealt with plenty of those joke kitchenettes with a mini-fridge and a hot plate that barely works. Here, you can genuinely cook if that’s your thing, though there are some great local spots within walking distance if you’d rather explore. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the room, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but here we are.

What really impressed me was how the staff handles things – they’re around when you need them but not hovering, you know? Check-in was smooth, no weird complications or surprise fees. The cleaning between stays is thorough without that overwhelming chemical smell some places have. And here’s a small thing that matters more than you’d think: the shower pressure is excellent, and the hot water doesn’t run out after five minutes. The soundproofing is decent too – I could hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me up at night. Parking situation is manageable, though like most places in the area, you’ll want to ask about it when you book rather than just assuming it’ll work out. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two there – it’s one of those places where everything just functions the way it should, without drama or hassle. For the price point, you’re getting way more space and comfort than you’d find at a traditional hotel, plus that apartment-style independence that makes longer stays actually enjoyable rather than just tolerable.

  Excellent value for money. 10-15min walk to main centre and bus stops, 5min walk to main supermarket and restaurants. Comfortable, good wifi and AC, and the host kindly accommodated out check in needs.
  
  What could be improved: Kitchen has no oil, salt, pepper or dishwashing liquid – these simple additions would make the space more user-friendly!

  Comfortable and clean room. House is not far away from centre (10 minutes walking). Host is very kind and helpful. The area is pretty quiet. Definetely good value for money.
