Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Apartments Krug,” I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds sort of generic, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got that solid 4-star feel without trying too hard, and honestly, that 8.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there.

What I really loved about Krug is how it nails that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment freedom. You get proper apartment-style setups – I’m talking real kitchenettes where you can actually cook something decent, not just heat up instant noodles. The spaces feel lived-in but well-maintained, if that makes sense. Nothing’s too precious or sterile. I mean, you’ll find little touches that show someone actually thinks about what travelers need, like enough counter space for your stuff and outlets where you’d logically want them. The bathrooms are properly sized too – none of that cramped shower situation you sometimes get with European apartments.

The staff runs things pretty smoothly without being overly formal about it. Check-in was straightforward, and when I had a question about the heating (it was one of those digital thermostats that seemed to have a mind of its own), they sorted it out quickly. You know what I appreciated? They didn’t make me feel stupid for not figuring it out myself. The building itself has that well-kept European apartment vibe – clean common areas, decent elevator, the kind of place where you don’t worry about noise from other guests because everyone seems to be respectful travelers rather than party crowds. I stayed during what felt like shoulder season, and it was perfectly quiet at night. Actually, the whole area seemed to settle down nicely after dinner hours, which was perfect for getting good sleep. The morning light in these apartments is really nice too – big enough windows that you don’t feel like you’re waking up in a cave. Honestly, for the price point and the overall experience, I’d definitely book Apartments Krug again. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t overpromise but delivers on the basics really well, plus gives you that apartment flexibility when you want to grab groceries and eat in, or just spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase.

  Good location, the bus station is only 15 minutes' walk away, and the sea is 5 minutes' walk away. There are many good restaurants, bars and shops nearby. It is a cozy and comfortable appartment. The view was perfect and it was sooo warm inside. Friendly assistant.
  
  What could be improved: The hair dryer was burnt out. There is not enough hot water in the boiler for two people. There are not enough kitchen utensils, not enough cutlery for variety and dishes for cooking (worth considering for those who stay here for a long time).

  Good location close to the beach and old town. Inside the apartment is well arranged and has a beautiful view.
  
  What could be improved: The address is approximate, and there were no instructions from the host, so it was difficult to find. I was looking for it for half an hour before I had to use expensive roaming data to contact the host.

  We really liked the location of the accommodation, the interior design of the room, and the balcony. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: The paid parking was one of the drawbacks and there could have been hotel slippers.

  All the utilities you could need during a stay in Budva, really clean and modern room and a lovely balcony. Excellent for either short or longer stay! Close to the beach and the city centre attractions.
  
  What could be improved: No indicators of the apartment wifi anywhere in the room, most tourists rely on having wifi here, but the host answered fairly quick! Also had a washing machine without any detergent, so bring your own.
