Hotel Description

You know what really caught me off guard about Apartments Luka? The moment I walked in, it felt less like a hotel and more like staying at a friend’s really well-designed apartment. I mean, most places with “apartments” in the name make you nervous about what you’re getting into, but this one’s actually got its act together – there’s a reason it pulls in an 8.5 rating.

The whole setup is honestly pretty clever. Each unit feels like someone actually lives there, with kitchens that have real coffee makers (not those tiny hotel pod things) and living spaces where you can spread out without bumping into the bed every time you move. I spent a good chunk of one afternoon just working from their dining table, which sounds boring but was actually kind of perfect – good natural light, sturdy furniture, none of that wobbly hotel desk nonsense. The four-star rating makes sense once you see how they’ve thought through the details. Like, the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, the shower has proper water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing your neighbor’s entire phone conversation at 11 PM.

What I really appreciated was how they handle the whole apartment-hotel hybrid thing. You get daily housekeeping if you want it, but you’re not trapped in that formal hotel bubble where everything feels sterile. I grabbed groceries one day and made breakfast in the kitchen, then had them clean up while I was out exploring. Best of both worlds, honestly. The location works well too – you’re not stuck in some tourist trap area, but you’re also not so far out that getting anywhere becomes a project. I walked to several restaurants for dinner without having to plan some major expedition, and there were actual local spots mixed in with the obvious tourist places. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s tried to navigate European city centers with a rental car will appreciate. The staff knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the standard guidebook stuff. They pointed me toward this little bakery that I never would have found otherwise – the kind of place where locals actually go for their morning coffee, not just tourists taking Instagram photos. Check-in was smooth, no drama with keys or codes, and they were pretty flexible when I needed to adjust my departure time. It’s the kind of place where you settle in after the first night instead of spending your whole stay figuring out how everything works.

Budva’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Mediterranean charm and modern comfort, with many featuring sea view terraces and traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

Perfectly located directly next to the fortress so very close and quite. He gave me a flyer for an offline map with all the sightseeing spots and recommended a beach.

The location was perfect! A short walk to the Old Town, walkable to the bus station too. Our room was large and we had a lovely view toward the ocean.

  • Jacqueline from United Kingdom – 29 August 2024 (9/10)

Everything about the apartment was exceptional. It was immaculate, lovely balcony, supermarket at the end of the road, two minutes away. Five minute walk into Budva Town. Luca and his family were so welcoming and helpful. Such a wonderful, peaceful setting. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay in Luca apartments again. 10/10

What could be improved: Everything was perfect.

  • Nikki from United Kingdom – 21 August 2024 (7/10)

    Great location and lovely host.
Room a little small with a slanted roof so difficult to stand up at times and I’m only a small person so wouldn’t be ideal for tall person. Other rooms may be better.
Bathroom also separate across the corridor but wasn’t too much of an issue.

What could be improved: Size of room and slanted ceiling.
    No fridge.

  • Ariane from Australia – 13 August 2024 (7/10)

    Great location and view.

What could be improved: The shower is tiny, and the towels they give you aren’t full size. You have to be very careful to not bang your head when getting in/out of bed. The cleaner also speaks no English at all which can make it difficult to communicate
