Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “Apartments Luka BU2,” I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty basic, and three stars usually means you’re getting the essentials and not much else. But you know what? Sometimes the places that don’t try to oversell themselves end up being the biggest surprises, and that’s exactly what happened here.

The thing about Luka BU2 is that whoever runs this place actually gets what travelers need. I mean, we’re talking about a 9.8 rating here, which is pretty incredible for any accommodation, let alone a three-star setup. When I walked into my apartment, it was immediately clear why people keep coming back – everything just works. The kitchen actually has decent knives (you’d be amazed how rare that is), there’s proper counter space for more than just setting down your keys, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone in the next room turns on a hairdryer. These might sound like small things, but honestly, they’re the difference between a place you tolerate and one you’d actually recommend to friends.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night – even though you’re not stuck way out in the middle of nowhere, you can actually sleep without earplugs. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a bag of rocks, and there’s decent blackout capability if you’re one of those people who needs complete darkness. During the day, there’s enough natural light that you don’t feel like you’re living in a cave, which is surprisingly hard to find in apartment-style places.
