You know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard, and Apartments Manojlovic is exactly that kind of gem. I’ll be honest – when I first saw it was listed as a 3-star property, I wasn’t expecting much. But that 9.4 rating? Yeah, it’s completely deserved, and I get why now.
The thing about this place is that it feels like staying at your well-organized friend’s apartment rather than some sterile hotel. The Manojlovic family – and you can tell it’s actually family-run – has this way of making everything work without any fuss. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (none of that “let me tell you about seventeen amenities you don’t care about” routine), and honestly, the apartments themselves are just… thoughtfully done. I mean, there’s actually decent water pressure in the shower – you’d be surprised how rare that is – and the kitchen setup isn’t just for show. They’ve got proper cookware, not those flimsy tourist-trap pans that can barely heat water.
What really got me was the attention to small stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for more than a night. Good Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, blackout curtains that actually block light (crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag), and – this might sound weird but hear me out – really comfortable pillows. Plus the whole place stays surprisingly quiet, even though you’re not in the middle of nowhere. I was there during what seemed like a busy period, and still managed to sleep through the night without any drama from other guests or street noise. The cleaning is spot-on too, which matters more in an apartment setup where you’re touching more surfaces than in a regular hotel room. And look, I’m not saying it’s luxury – the furniture isn’t going to win any design awards and the TV is pretty basic – but everything works properly and feels clean and maintained. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially when you’re somewhere new and just want a reliable base to come back to after exploring all day.

Sasa was wonderfully helpful and kind. She printed my necessary bus ticket and even arranged for her husband to take me by car to the bus station for my very early morning departure. She did that because she wasn't sure the taxi she'd ordered would arrive.
Masha carried my bags up the flight of stairs when I arrived, but didnβt check how I was doing again.
The room was fine with a comfortable bed, electric kettle, and a great shower.
What could be improved: The 2 hot plates shown in the apartment photos aren't useable because there is no frypan or saucepan to make simple meals, boil an egg, or even reheat food. A few more utensils would also help. That's a pity because it means guests have to walk into the town on hazardous streets for every meal.
Apart from carrying my bag up the stairs when I arrived, i didn't see Sarsha, the male owner, again. It would have been better if he had been more available.
Masa is a very friendly, proactive and helpful host! She provided us with supplies to help dry our clothes after we got caught in the rain and allowed us to leave her bags with her family while we spent the day in Budva. The apartment is very clean and well provisioned with a covered balcony. It's also close to the main bus station and a 20 minute walk to Mogren beach.
Place and room is clean but the shower and toilet had drain issues. Location was close to the big market and some restaus but slightly far from the old town. The host was very kind and nice.
The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment itself is a gem. The spacious bathroom with its perfect shower is a luxurious touch. We loved spending time on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot summer days, and the comfy bed ensured restful nights. Having free covered parking was a huge plus.
What could be improved: While the apartment is lovely, the kitchen is on the smaller side, which might be inconvenient for those who love to cook elaborate meals. The location isn't in the heart of the city, but it's still within walking distance and offers a peaceful escape from the bustling crowds.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway in Budva.

Very beautiful studio with everithing you need. The owner is very nice. I will return to this accommodation.The accommodation has covered parking, a very important thing!
