You know what struck me first about Apartments Marković? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not – and honestly, that’s refreshing. Walking up to the building, you get that authentic neighborhood feel that a lot of travelers are actually looking for these days, especially when they’re tired of cookie-cutter hotel chains that could be anywhere in the world.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly well-maintained for a 3-star place. I mean, you’re not getting marble countertops or anything fancy, but everything works properly and the spaces are thoughtfully laid out. The kitchenettes are actually functional – not just for show – which is huge if you’re staying more than a couple nights or traveling with family. There’s something satisfying about being able to make your morning coffee exactly how you like it, you know? The Wi-Fi is solid too, which I always appreciate since I tend to do some work while traveling. What I really noticed was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being in an apartment-style setup might mean more noise from neighbors, but the walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation or TV show from next door.

The staff runs things pretty smoothly – check-in was straightforward, no unnecessary complications or hidden fees popping up. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle depending on when you arrive (I learned this the hard way), but once you figure out the local rhythm, it’s manageable. The whole area has this lived-in quality that I actually love – you’ll see locals going about their daily routines, small shops that aren’t tourist traps, and you get a sense of what the place is really like beyond the postcard version. That 8.2 rating makes perfect sense to me because this isn’t about luxury or Instagram moments – it’s about having a comfortable, honest base for exploring while feeling like you’re staying somewhere real. If you’re the type who values substance over flash and wants to experience a place rather than just pass through it, Apartments Marković delivers exactly what it promises.

Hotel in Budva booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally popular music festivals and beach parties.

  The location was great. walking distance everywhere you want to visit in budva.

  Tamara (the owner) is communicative, friendly, helpful, and flexible. We agreed about the arrival time, so we could check in easily. The apartment is about 30 mins walk from the bus station, and easy to find. It was clean and comfortable. Inside the apartment there is a small hall combined with the kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms; there is also a balcony accessible from both rooms. We could use the washing machine in the small common area outside the apartment downstairs.
  
  Tamara took care of the visitor registration, and also provided us parking place. The beds are comfortable. The balcony is shaded enough, so even during the day it was pleasant sitting there. The flat is next to a hotel, which was useful if/when we had any questions or needed any help.
  
  The flat is next to a bar, however it wasn't disturbing. The bar music was audible but it was calm and relaxed, and for us it was nice to slowly wake up hearing mellow beats. The bar guests weren't loud either.
  
  Locations nearby: supermarket across the street, bar, fruit stand, 0-24 small shop, restaurants, and the beach was about 10-15 minutes walk. Pharmacy, car rental places, and bakery can be found within 10 min walk. The old town is about 30-40 min away in a casual walking pace.
  
  What could be improved: The kitchen is a bit small, but we managed to use it well. There are two electric stoves. There was only one socket on the wall which was shared between the stove/fridge cable and the water kettle.

  Evin temizligi oldukça iyiydi. Ev sahipleri güleryüzlü ve samimi kişiler. Bir sorun olduğunda hemen ilgileniyorlar. Özel otopark alanı olması da ayrıca güzeldi.

  Objekat je na dobroj lokaciji, plaža je blizu, marketi. Pab sa dobrom i povoljnom hranom odmah pored objekta. Smještaj je onakav kao na slikama. Čisto, uredno, u obije sobe televizija sa kablovskim programima. Sve kako je opisano tako zaista i jest. Sa domaćinima smo se lako dogovorili oko vremena prijavljivanja i odjavljivanja. Balkon dovoljno prostran. Sve u svemu preporuke i rado ćemo se vratiti ponovo!
