You know what caught me off guard about Apartments Menuet? The name makes it sound all fancy and classical, but honestly, it’s got this refreshingly unpretentious vibe that I wasn’t expecting from a 4-star place. I mean, don’t get me wrong – it’s polished and well-run – but there’s something genuinely comfortable about it that feels more like staying at a really nice friend’s apartment than some sterile hotel chain.

The apartment-style setup is actually brilliant if you’re planning to stay more than just a night or two. You get proper kitchen facilities (and I’m talking real ones, not those sad little coffee makers and mini-fridges), which honestly saved me a fortune since I could grab groceries and make breakfast instead of hunting down overpriced hotel food every morning. The living spaces are thoughtfully laid out too – whoever designed these units actually understood how people live, with enough outlets in the right places and proper lighting for reading. Small thing, but the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, even in the bedroom, which… well, you’d be surprised how many places still mess that up.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to maintain that 8.7 rating – and after staying there, I totally get it. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work; everything was spotless without feeling overly sanitized, if that makes sense. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re arriving later in the evening since the front desk isn’t 24/7 like some bigger hotels. The building itself has character without being outdated – you can tell they’ve invested in keeping things fresh and modern where it counts (the bathrooms are particularly nice), while preserving whatever charm drew people there in the first place. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time of year, but they’ll sort you out with local options if their spots are full. Actually, one small heads-up – if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs since the walls between units aren’t completely soundproof, though it’s rarely an issue unless you get particularly enthusiastic neighbors.

  Spacious light and placed in the center of cove — walking distance from any point, nice and quiet with sea view

  Our stay at Apartments Menuet was simply wonderful and lasted four nights from March 9 to March 13 and exceeded all our expectations! The hospitality was exceptional, starting with the kindness and warm attitude of the owner, the entire staff, and especially the owner's daughter, who welcomed us, showed us around the rooms, and accompanied us personally and attentively. The staff was always available, responding cheerfully and helpfully to every request we had.
  
  Cleanliness at the property was impeccable. The rooms were always spotless, clean, and orderly. Every day, fresh towels were provided, and the rooms were meticulously cleaned to ensure our comfort.
  
  This was my first visit to Montenegro, and Budva in particular, and the exceptional hospitality we received at Apartments Menuet left me eager and excited to return to this charming place again.

  We’ve been here many times. In the winter, it’s great value for the money. Plus, they renovated the shower, so now it’s even better. I love this place.

  The apartment is located in the same building as the Tre Canne Hotel and features a beautiful sea view, right onto the Sveti Nikola Island, from its huge frontal window. It is spacious (I'd say it is larger than it looks in the photos), stylishly furnished, and has both the living room and the bedroom equipped with heating. There is also a small but well-equipped kitchen area near the entrance.
  
  The personnel that manages the property from an office near the hotel's reception was very friendly and helpful. It is possible to leave the bags in the office after check-out, which we did to have a walk to Budva's old town before taking our bus to the next destination.
