You know what? I almost walked past Apartments Miković the first time I was looking for it – there’s no flashy sign or grand entrance, just this solid, well-maintained building that feels more like a local neighborhood gem than a tourist spot. And honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that you’re not just another booking number. The owner, who I’m pretty sure was Mr. Miković himself, greeted me like I was a relative visiting for the weekend, complete with recommendations for the bakery around the corner that apparently makes the best burek in the area.

The apartments themselves are what I’d call “thoughtfully comfortable” – everything you actually need is there, and it’s all in good condition, but they haven’t gone overboard trying to impress you with unnecessary fancy touches. The kitchen actually works (you’d be surprised how rare that is), with real pots and pans instead of those flimsy things you usually find in rentals. I mean, I’m not saying you’ll want to cook elaborate meals, but making morning coffee or heating up some local pastries feels natural here. The beds are properly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner, which became important when I ended up working from the little dining table by the window. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re clearly in a residential area with actual life happening around you.

The 4-star rating feels about right, though I’d say it’s more like a really solid 4 than one trying to creep up to 5-star territory. There are small things that show someone cares – fresh towels that actually smell clean, good water pressure in the shower, and outlets where you need them (seriously, why is that so hard to find?). The neighborhood turned out to be perfect for getting a feel for how people actually live here, rather than just hitting the obvious tourist spots. I found myself walking to a little market two blocks away most mornings, and the staff there started recognizing me by day three. That 8.2 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises without any surprises, good or bad. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, and you want to experience the area like someone who actually lives there, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  We had a very pleasant stay at this apartment! It is spacious and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the apartment is ideal, centrally located and within walking distance to the old town. There are also plenty of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby. The host was welcoming, kind and caring, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. You get great value for the money you pay. We truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Budva! 😊

  The location was so easy to get around. It sets back off of a busy street but it was so very quiet at night and we slept really well. Easy walk to get to old town too. We love the balcony to sit out on in the evening. Also we tried the air conditioner and it wouldn't work. The host came right away and tried different batteries and it still didn't work. She whisked us right into the other room across the hall and turned on the air conditioner in there. She was so accommodating and a lovely woman. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness. The beds were perfect as well as the pillows. Shower and tub worked good and had plenty of hot water.
  
  What could be improved: Not really a dislike but the shower was a wand and there was no were to hang it up but it worked just fine.

  Convenient location, just ten minutes from the beach and five minutes from the bus station.

  The owner Nada was super friendly and so nice… the apartment was so clean… location was amazing… the neighborhood is very safe … overall it was a very comfortable stay except for the air condition, it was not working efficiently… also there was no hanger for the shower had to hold it all time while taking shower… other than this everything was just perfect…
